A Marxist organised “refugee” rally is going ahead today despite being deemed illegal by the NSW Supreme Court.

The rally is being organised by the Refugee Action Coalition (RAC) a front group for the revolutionary Trotskyist organisation “Solidarity”. Two prominent media spokesmen for the rally are James Supple and Nick Riemer. James Supple is the editor of the Solidarity magazine and has been a Marxist activist since the 00s. Nick Riemer is a linguistics professor and long-time Marxist activist who organised the faculty resistance to the Ramsay centre at the University of Sydney, comparing the conservative group to the Christchurch shooter. Riemer is also known for attending an anti-Israel protest where money was waved at attendees. Riemer was also prominent as a participant in the violent anti-Milo Yianopolous protests in Sydney where seven of his fellow leftist thugs were arrested after attacking attendees and police.

Also in the media defending the illegal protest is Ian Rintoul, the founder and leader of Solidarity and a Marxist activist since he was first recruited in Ipswich back in the mid 1970s.

Solidarity is a revolutionary Trotskyist organisation founded as a merger of three smaller Trotskyist groups in 2008. The Unshackled readers would perhaps remember them as the group who organised a rally against the “racist” Morrison government closing the borders to China to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. If not for that act of stupidity you ight remember them as the people who first broke the Coronavirus bans to hold another protest for “refugees” in Melbourne earlier this year.

As a revolutionary Marxist group Solidarity by definition believes that Australia is an immoral social construct created to perpetuate “patriarchal white-supremacist imperialist capitalism” and so has no right to exist.
One would think that the fact that the fact that a group openly defying the highest court in NSW doesn’t believe NSW has the right to exist and wants to overthrow the federal government and implement a totalitarian socialist state might have popped up in a few news articles. But strangely from the evil Murdoch press to the saintly seekers of truth at the ABC no journalist in Australia seems interested in mentioning it. These three amigos between them managed to be interviewed by almost every major news outlet in Australia without a single one asking a single question about their public connections to the most fringe sort of left wing extremism.

These protests in Sydney have gained the most attention but the other main branch of Solidarity in Melbourne is also holding a rally today led by Chris Breen, another Marxist activist of decades standing.

Yet its easy to predict that yet again not a single media outlet will point out that these people defying court orders and breaking lockdown laws to do so are people who have spent decades organising for the most radical political extremist groups in Australia. Its time we stopped tolerating the actions of people who hate us, who hate our country and want to see Australia destroyed. Only when the media is forced to tell the public who these people are and what they really believe will there be any pressure on police and politicians to do anything about the threat they pose.
