After a week of mainstream media and political demonization and slander, the Worldwide Freedom Rally Crowds in Australia on Saturday, 20th November 2021, were massive and peaceful. In Melbourne, the Occupy Spring Street activists had camped out all week on the steps of Victoria’s Parliament House as part of the Kill the Bill campaign. Whilst Saturday’s Freedom Rally was the largest ever political demonstration in the city with estimates of 250,000-500,000 Victorians in attendance, equating to approximately 1 in 20 Victorians.

With there being no gathering limits in public places for either the vaccinated or unvaccinated, Victoria Police’s role was relegated to directing traffic away from the march route which began at midday from Spring Street and ended Flagstaff Garden where the rally speakers’ podium was set up.

The only real job Victoria Police had in stopping any political violence was keeping away the angry anti-freedom protestors of about 500 gathered at the Eight Hour Monument. The anti-freedom protest was organized by a Socialist Alternative front group, the Campaign Against Racism and Fascism. The Socialist Alternative also has a pro-covid zero, pro-lockdown, and pro-mask mandate front group, Health before Profits which still believes we should be in lockdown until there are no covid cases in Victoria.

After a week of demonizing those campaigning against Dan Andrews’ permanent pandemic laws (entitled the Pandemic Management Bill) as far-right extremists who support political violence and death threats, the DanStan’s online acolytes led by his PRGuy 17 Twitter simp could hardly find anything with which to slander the protestors. There was not a gallow or noose in sight. Out of sheer desperation, they claim the crowd numbered only 10,000 based on cropped aerial drone footage, and they defamed the organizer of the Melbourne Freedom Rally, Harrison McLean as a neo-nazi.

The Victorian Liberal Party banned their MPs from attending after state leader Matthew Guy and Prime Minister Scott Morrison fell for the Friday afternoon hoax that Animal Justice Party MLC Andy Meddick’s daughter Kielan was assaulted in Fitzroy the previous evening in a suspected politically motivated attack because of her father’s support for the Pandemic Management Bill.

Later that afternoon Victoria Police released a disproving the narrative put forward by the Meddicks. It revealed that Kielan Meddick hit in the head iwith her own spray can while engaging in political vandalism in Fitzroy, her act of public vandalism led to an argument with a random man who passed her by, she then threw the spray can at this man missing, he threw it back which hit her on the back of the head.

In the lead-up to this Melbourne Freedom Rally, the local mainstream media newspapers, The Age and the Herald Sun reported fears of (or hoped for) ugly clashes and violence. As it turned out to be a totally peaceful protest with massive attendance, the Herald Sun made a feeble attempt at suppressing this massive political demonstration by putting cricketer Tim Paine’s sexting scandal on its front page.

The past week has shown the mainstream media’s hate of freedom activists and continued love of pandemic fear porn to boost ratings, get clicks and sell papers. It has also proven that the Liberal Party, (especially its Victorian division) is too cowardly to stand with freedom activists. After the Pandemic Management Bill didn’t pass this week with former Labor MLP Adem Somyeruk returning to vote against it, the Victorian Liberals have offered to collude with the Andrews Government to pass another permanent pandemic bill.

Parties that did have MPs and representatives on the ground at freedom rallies around Australia were the Liberal Democrats, the United Australia Party (Party leader Craig Kelly was in Sydney, Party Chairman Clive Palmer in Brisbane), Australia One led by war veteran Riccardo Bosi, and the new incarnation of the Family First Party. The crowds were made up of every demographic in Australia: patriots, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Greeks, Turks, Croatians, Aboriginal Australians, African Australians, Indian Australians, Asian Australians the full list would be endless. These are the Australians the major parties condemn and disavow.

The Unshackled was live on the ground in Melbourne with live footage being streamed on Facebook and YouTube with Tim Wilms, Andy Nolch, and Margo Huss covering the day’s events. There were also countless Independent media outlets including the Real Rukshan, Rebel News, and the Australian Free Independent Press Network. We also put together a video highlights package of the day.

Arguably the dumbest criticism of the freedom activists is why they are protesting when there is no lockdown. This is because the price of liberty is eternal vigilance, liberty as we knew has been removed from Australians since March 2020. Australians are being coerced into being vaccinated to retain their livelihoods, the unvaccinated are locked out in New South Wales and Victoria and soon to be other states. Plus lockdowns could happen all over again as mainland European nations are implementing lockdowns and restrictions in the lead-up to their winter, despite their vaccine rollouts.

The Worldwide Freedom Rallies will continue to be held in Australia with Melbourne continuing to have the largest attendance as the trauma from the world’s longest and most brutal lockdown is still raw. The kill the bill activists were already back on the steps of Spring Street Saturday night holding an outdoor dance party as the Andrews Government Pandemic Management Bill will come back before the Victorian Parliament in the final sitting week of 2021 on November 30.
