The Australian right needs activists

Last Saturday Pauline Hanson held a “Fish and chips with Pauline” event in Perth with 300 paying attendees.
Naturally about twenty imbeciles with delusions of adequacy decide to turn up and “shut down” the event.

Thankfully like most such recent efforts by the extreme Left in Perth the police at the scene were more protecting the leftists from the attendees than the other way around.

If I was a betting man and had to choose between 20 odd crusty lefties and three hundred angry boomers led by a dozen or so jacked fellas from the WA Proud Boys I know where the safe money would be.

So the real question at this point is who were these crusty, ill-smelling lefty idiots trying to disrupt a peaceful meeting being held by a democratically elected sitting Australian Senator?

Alexis Vassiley of Socialist Alternative has a brief and frank exchange of views with an unimpressed Hanson fan.

Those who’ve followed my previous coverage will be shocked, SHOCKED to discover that the culprits are members of the biggest, best organised violent political extremist group in Australia, Socialist Alternative.

But first things first. In the lead up to the event Nathan Hondros writing for Perth Now interviewed the self-proclaimed leader of the protest Nick Brown.
Nick said:

“In the 1990s, One Nation was met with constant protests that made it difficult for One Nation to organise… We want to draw on that tradition and make it as difficult as possible when they put on events like this.”

In other words Nick wanted to draw on the traditions of the violent protests organised by the extreme left that attacked One Nation supporters in the 90s. Some of those protests (particularly those in Melbourne) put innocent bystanders in hospital. Members of the extreme Left still gloat about such “victories” today.

Nathan, being a good Aussie journo, didn’t bother to mention that Nick Brown is an organiser for Socialist Alternative.

But why should he? “United Against Bigotry and Racism” the Socialist Alternative front group Mr Brown was purporting to represent has never had a single media spokesman who was not a member and organiser of Socialist Alternative.

And not a single journalist has ever mentioned this fact.

When UBAR organised the protests against Nigel Farage the spokesman was Clare Francis, an organiser for Socialist Alternative.

Clare Francis, Socialist Alternative

When they held their sad and rather pathetic Perth protest against Stefan Molyneux and Lauren Southern Nick Brown was again the spokesman, with again no mention of his affiliation with the violent extremist group.

Miranda Wood. Socialist Alternative.

In November 2015 when UBAR attempted to attack a Reclaim Australia rally Brendan Foster of WAtoday again failed to mention that UBAR spokeswoman Miranda Wood was yet another organiser for Socialist Alternative. Kate Campbell of Perthnow called Miranda an “anti-racism activist” at the same event, bafflingly managing to miss her extremist links just as Brendan did. I guess it’s not too much of a shock though as Shalailah Medhora of the Guardian Australia mysteriously managed to favourably quote Miranda without mentioning her extremist links either.

It’s almost as if a pattern is emerging.

Alexis Vassiley. Socialist Alternative

In another report on the anti-Reclaim Australia attacks by UBAR authored by Briana Shepherd of the ABC, UBAR organiser Alexis Vassiley was named as a group spokesman without mentioning that Alexis is yet another Socialist Alternative organiser. This is also despite Alexis being on the record as involved in organising explicitly Marxist protests with the Socialist Alliance group as far back as 2004.

Alexis Vassiley of Socialist Alternative chats with a Nigel Farage supporter

Alexis was easily visible screaming like an imbecile at the anti-Farage protest as well as being prominent at the event on Saturday again screaming inanities at a One Nation supporter. Generally speaking if a bloke has been involved in helping to organise violent political extremist groups over the course of a decade and a half you would expect journalists in a relatively small catchment area like Perth to notice. But I guess not.

Generally when journalistic malfeasance is this clear and obvious my first conclusion isn’t bias but stupidity. I’ve met quite a few journalists over my journey and they tend towards the stupider and duller end of the spectrum while amusingly considering themselves the one indispensable factor for the functioning of modern society.
But in the case of Perth these imbeciles are sometimes even helping to promote the Facebook event pages of the violent protesters with direct links in their own articles (looking decidedly askance at you David Allan-Petale of WAtoday).

Let’s remind ourselves that in their statement of principles the Socialist Alternative group declares that their aim is to overthrow the government via violent revolution and implement a totalitarian communist state. They are not greenie hippie types looking for peace and love. They are violent, cultish, extremist nutcases who follow the most murderous ideology of all time and fanatically believe their actions are bringing us closer to a paradise on earth.

And these journalists are helping them to inch closer to their goals every time they fail to name these people for what they are.

So it’s up to us to shame these overpaid, nassicisitic idiots into doing their own jobs and incidentally saving their own necks.

After all to the people they so cheerfully cover up for these journos are just “running dogs of the capitalist imperialists” who “come the revolution” deserve to be up against the wall with the rest of us.

If (God forbid) such a dark day ever came I’m half convinced the average Australian journo would have no idea at all what was going on.
