Trump Triggers the Media into Hysteria
The United States mainstream media have made it very clear they do not like Donald Trump and have done their best so far to tear down his presidency by any means necessary. This includes their spreading of fake news that he colluded with Russia to influence the outcome of the 2016 Presidential Election (the mainstream media recently confessed it was fake).
Thankfully Donald Trump is not a person who will take such a media onslaught lying down. He is a successful businessmen and television personality who didn’t get as far as he has in life without taking on hostile opposition. Trump has responded by calling them the enemy of the American people, calling them fake news and bypassing them completely to communicate to the America people on Twitter. And no, Trump criticizing the media is not threatening the free press.
The media has shown over recent days they can dish it out but can’t take it, nor can they adjust to the fact that Trump is a different type of President and that is why the American people elected him. All this talk about Trump not acting Presidential misses the point, he is liked because he does act like a boring robotic politician, which the media deems to be the only acceptable way a politician should be. Americans wanted a President who pulls no punches and Trump is delivering.
It started last week with Trump’s “insult” to MSNBC Morning Joe presenter Mika Brzezinski on Twitter claiming that last time he saw her she was “bleeding badly from a face-lift”. Most of Trump’s supporters thought that was a wicked insult, better than what any of us could come up with. It should be noted no one died because of this tweet and no taxpayer money was wasted.
Both Brzezinski and co-host Joe Scarborough (a “Never Trump” Republican) have been constantly critical of Trump’s Administration. Certainly, Trump is entitled to a right of reply? The idea that a President should be able to be beaten to pulp by the media and not say anything in response is laughable.
The reaction of Scarborough and Brzezinski was to call Trump mentally ill and accuse him of blackmailing them into apologizing, by threatening them with a National Enquirer article about them. Brzezinski told the audience she was okay after the President’s insult. One wonders though if she is offended by a mean tweet by the President then how on earth did she get to be in the position she is now if she has the feelings of snowflake? In high powered industries such as the media nasty things are said all time and one would think Brzezinski would have a thick skin by now.
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

…to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!

The rest of the media behaved like snowflakes as well and used it as an opportunity to call Trump a misogynist again. Trump, true to form, did not back down. Over the weekend at a veterans’ rally told the crowd, “The fake media tried to stop us from going to the White House. But I’m president, and they’re not”. On Twitter, he also defended his use of social media and responding to his critics by saying “My use of social media is not Presidential – it’s MODERN DAY PRESIDENTIAL”.

He stepped up his response to the media in the past 24 hours by tweeting a video of his appearance on WWE from a decade ago but had the CNN logo on the head of the person who he fought with the heading Fraud News Network. This triggered the mainstream media into hysteria with commentators such as Ana Navarro (a Republican who supported low energy Jeb) claiming that Trump “is going to get somebody killed in the media”. CNN released a statement which said, “It is a sad day when the President of the United States encourages violence against reporters”.

It is a quite ironic that the media is accusing Trump of an incitement to violence when they and their friends in the entertainment and the arts industry have been inciting both violence and murder against Trump and his supporters. Madonna wanted to blow up the White House, Sarah Silverman demanded a military coup against Trump and Kathy Griffin held up Trump’s bloody severed head.
We saw the deadly consequences of this recently with the attempted massacre of Congressional Republicans which left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise fighting for his life. In the aftermath, right wing activist Laura Loomer interrupted a theatre performance of Julius Caesar which involved the murder of Trump like figure to take a stand against this normalization of violence against the right.
The video that Trump tweeted, it should be noted, was staged, he is not actually fighting anyone. Wrestling is also a legitimate sport, the CNN logo that he fights it is not blooded nor is Trump attempting to murder it, it is mild form of combat. To say that it is the same as these leftist incitements to violence and murder is not honest at all.
But one thing is clear from Trump’s renewed attacks on the mainstream media this week as that they are obsessed with their own importance and demanding respect when it is not earned. It is not the first time Trump has sent the media into a tailspin, they talked non-stop about his cofveve tweet for days. They are incapable of actually focusing on real hard news they pretend to care about.
Trump should continue to trigger the media, they accuse him of being unhinged but it is them who are becoming so. Trump is continuing to implement his election promises and keep faith with American people, he is doing his job but the media is not doing theirs. One hopes that the continued dying of the mainstream media continues as they continue to spiral into despair with assistance from a President finally willing to take them on.
