With Christmas fast approaching Australian politics is still throwing up plenty of news.

The Morrison Government finally released the Ruddock Review into Religious Freedom in Australia last week and announced the drafting of a new Religious Discrimination Act and a new Freedom of Religion Commissioner at the Human Rights Commission. Though adding to our existing discrimination laws could lead to more problems than it solves.

During Labor’s national conference onstage protests against offshore processing of asylum seekers and the Adani coal mine occurred but were not enough have these policies included in Labor’s national platform. Leader Bill Shorten has also outlined several big government policy announcements including rent subsidies.

The Greens party meltdown continues and has gone nuclear in New South Wales with the environmental moderates in the party want the far left communist and anarchists expelled.

Firstly I discuss the Religious Discrimination Act proposal with Political Editor of the Unshackled Michael Smyth. Then I bring in Associate Editor of the Unshackled Lucas Rosas to discuss the Greens as it is his area of expertise.
