It’s time for our 5th award of the Unshackler Awards series! The Annual Unshackler Awards is a set of awards that let you reflect on the year 2016 and all its events, and the results will be released on Australia Day. You can vote for everything from God Emperors to triggered feminists! And this time, you can vote for the 2016 Cis-White Male of the Year!

Last year saw the arrival of various cis white males to the spotlight, triggering feminists and SJWs alike. From triggering words to white privilege, these cis white males were laughed at by the left and its media for trying to save Western civilisation. Celebrities repeatedly mocked them online and on social media with an accompanying hashtag, and their words were misunderstood by the left. They were, in fact, ostracised, but that didn’t stop them from revealing the truth and bravely allowing good to prevail over evil. Truly, they made the right-wing great again!

So without further ado, let’s get voting!

George Christensen is an LNP member for the seat of Dawson. In his early life he had contemplated becoming a priest, but then turned to politics as a means of fighting for his principles. He has a huge following amongst many conservatives and nationalists that see him as someone who tells it how it is. He is critical of Islam, has promoted the re-introduction of the death penalty, has a strong stance on social issues, and shuts down political correctness. He is seen as the ultimate alpha-male, old fashioned, country bloke. It is this reason that he has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Mike Pence is the Governor of Indiana and the Vice President-elect of the United States. Mike Pence has positioned himself as a principled ideologue and supporter of the Tea Party movement, noting he was “a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, in that order.” He has always been a pro-life and abstinence education advocate, and has opposed the radical agendas put forward by the lgbti community. He was rumoured to support electro-shock therapy for those that were same sex attracted. Although this was proved untrue, he gained a cult following from being labelled as holding such views. These things make him an ultimate candidate, and is why he has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award

Boris Johnson is a historian, author, journalist, and politician for the Conservative Party of the United Kingdom. He describes himself as a “One Nation Tory” which has had him branded a populist and nationalist by some people. He was a leading figure that campaigned for brexit, and was considered to be a possible future Prime Minister. He has long established a kind of trademark within his characteristics which includes being rude, non punctual, not concerned about his appearance, and in all a bit of an upper class bogan. This is why he has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Nigel Farage is a British politician who led the UK Independence Party from 2006-2009, and again from 2010-2016. UKIP was founded in the early 90s, but rose to fame under Farage, when he was able to win them a large share of seats in the European Parliament, and achieved the 3rd highest vote in the 2015 general election. UKIP continued to gain in popularity as they campaigned strongly against immigration, globalisation, and the E.U. In June 2016 they were able to send a shock on a global scale, when the the U.K. voted to exit the European Union with 52% of the vote. Nigel Farage was the face behind the brexit movement, and was the first of the many populist leaders to succeed this year. This is why Nigel Farage has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

David Leyonhjelm is one of the loudest voices for freedom in the Australian Parliament is Liberal Democrats Senator Leyonhjelm. He has spearheaded a Senate inquiry into the nanny state and called out the public health lobby’s various ideas to take away our individual rights. He has stood up for free speech advocating for the repeal of 18C which including his mock complaint against being called an ‘angry white male’. He stood up for thousands of shooters in opposing the Alder shot gun ban against a barrage of hysteria from the political and media elites. Not afraid of offending people he has told whiny progressives and feminists to fuck off and not backed down. With his unapologetic attitude in fighting for rights of adults to be left alone David Leyonhjelm is proudly nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Vladimir Putin was a former KGB foreign intelligence officer, Prime Minister, and current President of the Russian Federation. He has been Time “Person of the Year”, and made it on Forbes “World’s Most Powerful Individual” list four times. Putin has promoted conservative policies in social, cultural, and political matters. Putin has attacked globalism and neo-liberalism, and instead advocated nationalism. He was successful in annexing Crimea, and made in roads to taking back land that belonged to the old Soviet Union. He has a tough guy image and that best characterises the ideal alpha male. This sends the left into a frenzy as they know with Putin they will not be getting a cuck, but instead a real man that will get stuff done. This is why Vladimir Putin has been nominated for “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Geert Wilders is the main figure standing up for patriotism and stronger borders in the Netherlands. He is the founder and leader of the Party for Freedom. Avidly critical of Islam, Wilders is a proponent of truth, exposing the reality of Islam and it’s true nature as a violent religion unfit for the Western world. This role has helped boost his popularity in the Netherlands. Geert Wilders has come under increasing attack simply for speaking the truth about Islam. Yet the fact that many polls show that he’s in the lead in the Netherlands is a reflection of the deep impact he’s having in the kingdom by bringing back national conservatism. This is why Geert Wilders has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Cory Bernardi is a conservative federal senator for the Liberal Party in South Australia. Cory had been a long supporter of Tony Abbott, and a critic of Malcolm Turnbull and others on the left of the party. He has a strong stance on social issues, is against same sex marriage and the safe schools indoctrination programs, is a supporter of free speech in which he wants to repeal parts of the racial discrimination act, is a critic of Islam, and a critic of climate change. He has been rumoured to possibly be starting his own conservative party in the future, and has already aimed through several websites to unite all conservatives, and take on the radical leftist group “get up”. This is why he has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Richard Spencer is a famous american nationalist. He coined the term alt-right and had been labelled by many as a white supremicist. He rejects such a term and calls himself an identitarian, which advocates for white identity which he sees eroding especially with the problems regarding immigration. He was a leading figure that gathered much support around Trump’s candidacy. He opposes same sex marriage and pushes for a return to a more traditionalist approach that was once the norm in the United States. He has achieved so much regarding the ideological shift of the right, and continues to be an influence in the community. This is why he has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”

Julian Assange is an Australian computer programmer, publisher, and journalist. He is the editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks, which has aimed to bring politicians and business people to account by releasing information that will clamp down on corruption. Wikileaks had a major impact on the U.S. Elections, as many emails were released that showed the true colours of the Democratic Party. It had documents that proved Clinton, Podesta, and other leading figures didn’t care about the minorities they claimed to protect, as well as many other leaks that highlighted the corruption and evil that came from many right at the top. This is why he has been nominated for the “Cis White Male Of The Year Award.”
