Laura Loomer for Congress: A Voice for the Censored
Laura Loomer has won the Republican Party primary for Florida’s 21st congressional district. This victory comes despite Loomer being one of the most censored people on the internet.
Loomer will now face off in the general election on November 3rd against current representative 72-year old Democrat Lois Frankel who was previously the Mayor of West Palm Beach from 2003 to 2011. The 21st district has been represented by Democrats since 2013 following its redistricting.
The district is the home of President Donald Trump’s now primary residence Mar-a-Lago. It includes the popular holiday, retirement and tourist cities of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach located in South Florida north of Miami and Fort Lauderdale.

It is due to her confrontational and outspoken journalism that has led to her becoming one of the most censored people on the internet. She has been banned from Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, PayPal, Comcast, and GoFundMe. even been banned from ridesharing services Uber and Lyft.
Loomer is proudly Jewish and is an obvious target of anti-Semitic white nationalists. Yet the mainstream media and leftist activists have still targeted her for deplatforming labelling her a far-right conspiracy theorist.
During her time at Rebel Media her most famous stunt was interrupting a performance of New York City Public Theatre’s performance of Julius Caesar which depicted the brutal stabbing of a Trump-like figure to tell the audience “Stop the normalization of political violence against the right!”
Her confrontations of politicians unable and unwilling to answer her questions has become known in the online world as being Loomered. Loomered is the name of her citizen journalist website. One of her biggest expose articles was on Squad member Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Omar married her gay brother as part of immigration fraud.
Current Media Presence
Loomer still has a platform on YouTube where her channel has 88k subscribers. On the surging free speech, social media platforms Loomer has as a presence on Telegram. But it is on Parler where her following has exploded and is one of the most popular personalities on the platform which is growing in popularity Loomer has 628k followers on present counting.
Loomer is also a contributor to Censored.tv founded by former Rebel Media and CRTV host Gavin McInness, himself deplatformed by Facebook and Twitter. Loomer hosts Loomered on the self-hosted subscription-based video platform. features other censored and deplatformed commentators such as Milo Yiannopoulos, Jacob Wohl and Soph who have supported her congressional campaign.
Loomer has also proved too much for the Conservative Inc tent. Although she was present at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in West Palm Beach, Florida in December 2019 she was kicked out of the 2020 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) after having her press pass revoked confronting CNN reporter Oliver Darcy about internet censorship.
Facebook Defamation Case
Loomer is one of the few censored personalities who has been able to muster both the resources and determination to take big tech to court over their censorship for both defamation and anti-trust violations.
Donald Trump has repeatedly hinted at changing federal communications regulations to treat social media companies as publishers due to their increasing editorialising of content instead of as platforms which exempts them from liability for the content posted on their websites.
Road to Victory
Loomer every-time she has been deplatformed or disavowed she bounced back and her primary victory has been no exception. Since launching her official campaign in October last year she out-fundraised all her primary opponents and current congresswoman Louis Frankel in each quarter for her campaign. Internal polling from her campaign has Loomer nine points ahead of Lois Frankel in a general election.
As well as the support of her censored.tv colleagues Loomer received endorsements from the current mother of the America First Movement Michelle Malkin, Infowars’ host Alex Jones, British commentator Katie Hopkins who has also been the target of Twitter and mainstream media deplatforming.
Her biggest endorsement came from current Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz from Florida’s 1st Congressional district who is one of President Trump’s chief allies in the current Democrat-controlled House of Representatives.
The primary votes are still being counted with 75% of the 21st district’s voting precincts having reported Loomer is way out in front with over 40% of the vote, her most resourced opponent in this primary was the Republican candidate for the district in 2018 midterm elections Christian Acosta who is currently hovering above 25% of the vote.

Loomer’s primary win is the biggest victory for the for dissent right in 20202. Enrique Tarrio Chairman of the Proud Boys launched a Congressional bid for Florida’s 21st district but did not make the ballot for today’s primary. Tarrio and the Proud Boys have also been vocal supports of Loomer’s campaign.
