Leftist Protest Against Margaret Court at Liberal Fundraiser in Melbourne, 22nd June 2017
Tennis great Margaret Court was the keynote speaker for a Liberal Party fundraiser for its candidate for the Victorian state seat of Sandringham Brad Rowswell.
Ever since she announced that she would no longer fly Qantas due to its support for same sex marriage she has been the left’s number one target. So a socialist aligned LGBT group Equal Love organised a protest outside the Athenaeum Club in Central Melbourne.
The Unshackled was there to cover it along with the rest of the mainstream media. Despite the organizers alleged commitment to free speech they did their best to intimidate attendees and disrupt the event by blocking both the front and back entrance.
