Nigel Farage to Tour Australia

Former United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) leader and champion of the successful Brexit referendum Nigel Farage is set to tour Australia this September. Farage joins a growing list of right-wing personalities who have made their way to Australia. Milo Yiannopoulos and Jordan Peterson have recently held successful tours, Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux are due in Australia next month.

Nigel Farage was a founding member of UKIP in 1993 and was elected to the European Parliament in 1999. He was the leader of UKIP from 2006-09 and again from 2010-16. He stepped down as leader after the Brexit vote believing his life’s work complete, but has not ruled out returning to the leadership if the UK government proved incapable of negotiating a successful Brexit. He remains a Member of European Parliament.

Farage since stepping down has begun a career in broadcasting hosting the Nigel Farage Show on LBC radio and being a contributor on Fox News. He was a supporter of Donald Trump during his presidential campaign speaking at one of his rallies.

Farage is visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland. Tickets are on sale now with a general admission price of $85 with a VIP meet and greet, backstage pass and a private dinner also available for purchase.

The tour is being hosted by Global Media & Entertainment Inc under the director of tour promoter Damien Costas who brought Milo Yiannopoulos out in December last year under the Penthouse brand.

Given Farage’s global political recognition it will arguably be the most anticipated tour to come to Australia with tickets likely to go fast. The popularity of these types of tours and the fact that promoters are lining up to bring personalities like Farage out is certainly a sign that the Australian public is hungry to hear alternative views which the mainstream media and our political class shun.
