On this week’s review show we are joined once again by Co-Editor in Chief of The Unshackled Sukith Fernando. It has been a while since our last show so we aim to cover as much news as possible. The big news of the past few days is yet another Islamist terror attack in the West, this time in London. We express our frustration at the usual virtue signalling from world leaders and people on social media expressing how shocked they are by the attack but none of them will consider the solution that is actually needed which is a ban on Muslim immigration.
We also discuss the ultimate political saga in Australia, the campaign to legalize same sex marriage. In the past week the business community has now got involved in the campaign. We highlight the fact that this is not a good development that business are now campaigning on social issues, they should stick to running their operations as was stated by Peter Dutton. What makes this worse is the fact that after the Coopers controversy it seems that businesses are only allowed to support left wing causes.
We also ask the question is Turnbull back from the dead? He has had a good few weeks with taking action on Australia’s looming energy crises and had a bounce in Newspoll earlier this week. Then he announced finally Coalition was legislate changes to 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act to allow for greater free speech. It is more action than Tony Abbott took as Prime Minister and even though Turnbull is a man of the left he just might do the right thing by conservatives if it means keeping his job.
