One of the political groups that has been left behind in the new polarized current state of US politics is libertarians. They have been divided on the impact of the Trump Presidency on the state of liberty and the way forward in achieving the movement’s goals.

The state of libertarianism in the United States is the topic of discussion today with my guest Steven Clyde host of the Peace and Liberty Podcast. We start by going through the recent history of the US libertarian movement peaking with the Ron Paul Revolution. But then falling away in the 2016 election cycle.

We assess President Trump’s performance on the key areas of the economy and foreign policy, and what is the actual state of liberty in 2019. Then we look to the 2020 election cycle and offer our predictions. Including what can be achieved for liberty in the future.
