Federal Labor has won the Aston by-election making it the first time a sitting government has won a seat from the Opposition at a by-election in over 100 years. The Victorian Liberal Administrative Committee chose lawyer Roshena Campbell who does not live in the South East Melbourne electorate but she ticked the diversity boxes being an Indian woman. The return of mass immigration to Australia will further erode the Liberal vote no matter how many ‘diverse’ candidates they pick. The Federal Liberals are holding an emergency meeting this week to decide their position on the Aboriginal Voice to Parliament.
Upon his return from his secret Communist Chinese trip and post the Aston by-election Victorian Premier Dan Andrews called the Liberals a nasty bigoted outfit. His government celebrated Trans Day of Visibility by lighting Flinders Street Station in the Trans flag colours.
