On this week’s review show we are joined again by the Unshackled’s New Zealand Correspondent Daniel Gross. We discuss the horrific crime wave to hit Victoria over the past week, starting with Bourke Street fatal car attack in Melbourne and asking why the perpetrator was out on bail? Then we turn to the Malmsbury Youth Detention Center riot and escape of seven detainees who then went to on a 24 hour crime spree in Melbourne carjacking and assaulting members of the public.
We then discuss the ascension of Gladys Berejiklian to Premier of New South Wales after Mike Baird’s resignation and given her left wing views is unlikely to stem the waves of conservative discontent within the Liberal Party. We discuss the left’s sabotage of Australia Day by holding so called Invasion Day rallies around the country resulting in newscasts that night debating if the date should be changed despite the overwhelming majority of Australians wanting to keep it on January 26th.
Back in Australia we discuss the left’s annual assault on Australia Day with their push to have it changed to another day and make celebrations more politically correct. We highlight some of the worst examples from governments and businesses who have adopted the left’s Australia Day narrative this year.
We also discuss the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States and the violent left wing protests that happened that day and the so called women’s marches that occurred around the world the day after. We dissect Trump’s first actions as President including beginning to implement so of his key campaign promises.
