The Left’s War on School Children

It was only last year that the majority of Australians learned about how the left was now using the school curriculum to indoctrinate children into radical gender theory and sexual social reengineering through the Safe Schools Program which is allegedly an anti-bullying program but was designed by Marxist academic Roz Ward at Latrobe University. Despite the federal government watering down the program last year, the state where the program started and is still taught in its original form Victoria has now introduced a new radical sex and gender program to add to the list.

Victorian Labor Education Minister James Merlino on Tuesday released the ‘respectful relationships’ program to be mandatory in all state schools by next year. This program is sold as helping to combat domestic violence, the accusation being if you oppose then you must not care about domestic violence as was the case if you opposed Safe Schools you must be a homophobe. Looking at the content of the program it is clear that takes the view of society that we live in a supposed patriarchy affecting all areas of our lives which is responsible for all discrimination and violence against women. The only solution therefore is to completely deconstruct the scientific reality of gender.

For example in early school years children are encouraged to make chants such as ‘Girls can play football, can be doctors and can be strong”, and “boys can cry when they are hurt, can be gentle, can be nurses and can mind babies” as part of an effort to break down gender stereotypes. There are two things wrong with this approach to gender, first it completely overlooks the scientific fact that men and women’s brains are different, therefore the reason that men tend to pick careers such as medicine and engineering while women pick fields such as teaching and nursing is because that is what they naturally enjoy or talented at. It is not because they are forced into these fields, they choose them of their own free will. Also there is nothing in our modern society that stops men and women from pursuing careers that are normally taken up by members of the opposite sex. Students are discouraged from using any type of gendered language in class or the playground. They are even indoctrinated issues such as the gender wage gap which has been consistently disproved by economists.

Even worse is that the concept of ‘male privilege’ which is supposedly everywhere will now be taught as part of the program, male students in secondary school will be taught to check their privilege and find ways to provide special considerations for less privileged groups. It explicitly states that “An awareness of the existence of male privilege is critical in understanding why there is a need for feminist perspectives, and education on gender at all,” which means they are making no effort to hide this is an indoctrination into a political agenda as this endorses the controversial philosophy of feminism. Students will also be taught about “hegemonic masculinity” or as it is sometimes known ‘toxic masculinity’ which implies that being tough, athletic and emotionally strong is somehow wrong.

Still worse in that in prep children are taught about their private parts, the reason stated is so they can report abuse but this appears to be a cover story to indoctrinate children into radical sex theory early in life. They are also taught it is normal for a child to have two mums or dads. In high school they are taught what is termed gender literacy which is actually filling their minds with all the new age leftists terms such as cisgender and pansexual. This sort of literacy if you can call it that will only confuse children during what can be challenging years for them.

First of all these issues should be left for parents to teach their children, school is a place for teaching reading, writing and math. Secondly what does any of this have to do with domestic violence? Is there any education about how to spot the signs of domestic violence, what sort of personality traits or behaviours to look for? The way leftists want to address the issue is to claim that there is something wrong will all men period. Therefore men and women to some degree need to be remade in the feminist and progressive image. The way society is structured currently is completely wrong and we need a revolution. These leftists have found the perfect place to begin this re-education, with our innocent children in schools where most parents have no idea what is going on.

The fact that these programs have been allowed to be implemented in many schools in Australia not just shows how the left have infiltrated the education system, but it also proves our parents have also surrendered much of their responsibility to the school education system which makes it so easy for the left to shape the views of the next generation. Exposing these radical programs is only one step, parents now need to step up the pressure on their schools to stop these programs from causing great damage to the minds of children. Childhood should be a time of innocence like it was for all of us, not being recruited to be part of the left’s social reengineering programs.

The authoresses of the Respectful Relationships are clear: the programme is based on a feminist foundation. Not scientific, but feminist. It’s a feminist programme aimed at changing society along feminist lines. It’s astonishing the lengths to which politicians will go in order to avoid the risk of being called ‘sexist’.
