On our interview show this week our guest is Caleb Stephen who is founder and Editor-in-chief of truthjournalism.com, an Australian based christian news website founded in March 2017. He is also a freelancer writer for numerous online publications such as The Spectator Australia and US websites World Net Daily and the Daily Caller. He is staff writer for Family Voice Australia, a conservative christian activist group based in Adelaide. He has worked overseas for grassroots investigative news organization wearechange.org. He also does volunteer work providing emergency help during disasters.
We start by asking him about what got him interested in journalism and what he sees the proper role of journalists in our society. We also explore his family background of political activism and how that influenced his politics and values. When then discuss contemporary political issues such as the merits of the right uniting in Australia as a political force to help push back against the left’s agenda. We also ask his views on various traditional and emerging political ideologies such as social conservatism, libertarianism and the alt-right. We then discuss the current state of politics both here and overseas and if we are seeing some signs of progress with the election of Trump that could be replicated here.
