The Annual Unshackler Awards: 2017 Australian Patriot Of The Year Award

It’s that time again where we look back and remember the year that was.

The annual Unshackler Awards is a series of 10 Awards to be released over the next coming weeks to remember the good and the bad as we break the chains of control.

Now it’s our time to publicly praise the 10 best patriots as nominated by The Unshackled team. Then you the public get to reduce it down to just one: The “2017 Australian Patriot of the Year Award” which will be announced on Australia Day.

Nick Folkes is the leader of Party For Freedom, a Sydney based nationalist party. He has been involved in the movement for many years and creates more rallies and events than any other patriot group. He is outspoken on matters such as immigration, multiculturalism, Islam, Chinese investors, and elite bankers. He promotes strong conservative values as a way of upholding the very foundations that built this country. He holds successful protest marches that are always reported on by the media, and has also appeared on many TV segments.

Christopher Shortis is a Victorian nationalist that is a member of Jim Saleams Australia First Party. He is connected to UNA media where he conducts interviews and informs people of current political events. He was 1 of the Bendigo 3 that was charged with the mock beheading in reference to Islam. He is widely seen as a future leader within the Nationalist movement as he is critical of the elites agenda; whether it be immigration, multiculturalism, or the destruction of Christian values.

Bob Hart is known for his unique videos that are both informative and humourous. He is a conservative civic nationalist that describes the communist agenda which the elite are currently implementing. He is anti-Islam, against degeneracy, and against big government which pursues cultural Marxism. He has impersonated certain characters to provide a funny side to some of his videos, in which he aims to convey his message in a different light. When serious however he unleashes a fiery performance that demonstrates his deeply held patriotic values.

Dan Evans describes himself as an Australian Conservative Capitalist and models his facebook page as such. He advocates for small government, a reduction in red tape, and for Aussie values to once again be brought to the forefront of society. Dan is a true patriot that is known by many through the uploading of videos, where he tackles the tough issues that others in Canberra shy away from. He is involved in the patriotic Reclaim Australia movement that highlights the ongoing threat we face from immigration, and our culture being eroded away to appease minority groups. He was ambushed by several Antifa members at the former anarchist bookshop “The Black Rose”, where he was struck in the head and back by flourescent tubes. A true fighter for all things Australian, and hero to the conservative movement. Dan Evans came in 3rd place last year for this award.

Bob Katter is your typical patriotic maverick from North Queensland. He is someone that isn’t afraid to say what he thinks, making him a true representative of the people. A country bloke that fights for farmers, and ensures the people from the bush have a voice. He established the Katter’s Australia party back in 2011 and has always been in the spotlight. Bob is someone that represents true Aussie values, and wants a return to the great western Christian values that this country was built on. Bob received a lot of support for his fiery speech regarding the result of the same sex marriage vote in parliament. He continually referred to the people of the bush as “real people”, and that the politically correct class of the CBD have no clue as to the challenges ordinary Australians face. He fights against nanny state policy, has been outspoken on immigration, and is a genuine commoner that aims to better this country.

Blair Cottrell is the leader of the controversial group United Patriot Front which has amassed quite a large following on social media. A controversial character who has previously done time in prison for arson. He had been linked with Nazism by many, but no solid proof has ever been presented. Despite this he still continues to rally support with his passionate Pro Australian, anti Marxism Speeches. He is passionate about Australia and Western Values and is constantly fighting the Marxist agenda and attempts by the media and others to paint patriotism in a bad light. Blair was 1 of the Benidgo 3 that was charged with a mock beheading in reference to Islam. Despite this he continues to make public appearances at many patriot rallies including the recent Milo protests in Melbourne. New film “Romper Stomper” also used his persona in creating the lead character of “Patriot Blue” which they named Blake. Blair came 1st in the patriot award last year, and is now facing a new fresh list of nominees.

Imam Mohammad Tawhidi is a Shiite-Muslim in Australia who is campaigning for the reformation of Islam. His willingness to call out his fellow Muslims for extremism and terrorism has made him a prominent target. He was attacked while out in an Adelaide street this year and was verbally abused when he visited Lakemba. His activism has attracted many media hit pieces and untruths about him. He is proof the left reserve their greatest criticism for those they view as traitors to their cause.

Kane Miller is one of the leaders of the patriot group the True Blue Crew which is based in Melton in Melbourne’s west. It was founded in opposition to the movement in the area that wanted to turn it into a Muslim suburb. They have also campaigned against the construction of Mosques in the suburbs. They are also the organisers of the successful annual Australian Pride March in Melbourne which brings together nationalists from around the state to unite in defending the Australian way of life.

Avi Yemini via his Facebook page has become a prominent anti-crime campaigner in Melbourne. He calls out the inaction and politically correct policing of the Daniel Andrews Labor government, the actions of the violent left in Melbourne and the regressive voices in our media via his Facebook live videos. He held the successful Make Victorian Safe Again. He is labelled a Nazi by the left which is bizarre given he is a proud Jew who loves Israel and whose family survived the holocaust.

Neil Erikson is the founder of Melbourne patriot group Patriot Blue, he was also 1 of the Bendigo 3 found guilty of offending Islam. Neil specializes in giving the left a taste of their own medicine by disrupting them in their safe spaces. He has gate crashed several inner Melbourne council meetings over their decision to cancel their Australia Day festivities. He also famously confronted Sam Dastyari in a Melbourne bar over his Chinese connections, this was before the latest revelations and despite being condemned for his actions Erikson was able to have the last laugh in the matter with Dastyari resigning.
