It’s that time again where we look back and remember the year that was. The annual Unshackler Awards is a series of 10 Awards to be released over the next coming weeks to remember the good and the bad as we break the chains of control. Now it’s our time to publicly praise the 10 best Australian Unshacklers as nominated by The Unshackled team. Then you the public get to reduce it down to just one: The “2023 Australian Unshackler of the Year Award” which will be announced on Australia Day.

Rukshan Fernando is a political commentator, digital content creator & photographer. A person that is most well known for being the key photographer of all of the major protests around Melbourne. He became a star particularly during the anti covid lockdown protests and continues to have a huge following.

Ralph Babet is a Federal UAP Senator for Victoria. Ralph is one of the key voices displaying commonsense throughout both houses of parliament. He is a key voice against anything woke and continues to stand up for the freedoms of ordinary Australians.

Aussie Cossack is an online commentator. Simeon Boikov after being a leading voice against the covid lockdowns, has now focused on the long fued between Russia and the Ukraine. He is an ally of Vladimir Putin and very critical of both the USA and NATO influence in the region.

Maria Zee is an online commentator and podcaster. She is the creator of Zeee Media and one of the leading independent Australian commentators. She has been on the Stew Peters show many times and hosts many well known politicians and personalities on her show.

John Adams is an Australian economist and managing director. John Adams is known to be a public crusader and has focused his time on highlighting corruption within ASIC. John is the executive producer and co-host of one of Australia’s leading economics and finance YouTube show – “In the Interests of the People”.

Darren Bergwerf is a freedom activist. He considers himself to be a sovereign citizen and is critical of the covid vaccines and government forced lockdowns. He started ‘My Place’ which aimed to bring people together and create parallel communities that are divorced from mainstream society.

Nick Paterson is an activist that was brutally assaulted by the police during the anti-lockdown protests of 2021. He is an ex MMA fighter and has since founded the community group Australian Peacemakers, that aims to gather like minded people and educate them on Australian law.

Triccy Triddy is a freedom activist. He is the leader of The People’s Revolution, and is very active against government agendas such as pushing for a cashless society and clamping down on people’s freedoms.

John Ruddick is a State Libertarian Senator for NSW. He is a fighter for libertarian principles. He is a supporter of Donald Trump and is critical of those that push for further restrictions on free speech.

David Limbrick is a State Libertarian Senator for Vic. He is someone that fights to protect property rights and was critical of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Laws. He opposed the conversion therapy laws that restricted freedom of choice, and is a supporter of Nuclear Energy.
