I begin with a health alert as we now have covid, the flu, gastro, RSV, monkeypox, Japanese Encephalitis, and Legionnaires’ disease to be alarmed about. PM AnAl’s first week has been dominated by foreign policy following his Quad meeting. After a terrible federal election result for the Liberals in Victoria, the state party proceeded in expelling conservative pro-life MLC Bernie Finn this week.

The US has had another tragic mass shooting with 18-year-old Salvador Ramos murdering 19 students and two teachers and wounded 17 others at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. Australian-style gun control is again being sold as the solution for this sick aspect of US culture.

In celebrity news actor Ray Liotta died suddenly at the age of 67 in his sleep. Actor Kevin Spacey has been charged in the UK with four counts of sexual assault against three men.
