Boris Johnson demonstrated this week as Prime Minister he is committed to achieving Brexit by any means necessary. He had the Queen agree to prologue parliament to thwart anti-Brexit MPs’ one last chance to stop a no-deal Brexit. Remainers claim this was anti-democratic, yet they are the ones who have ignored the democratic will of the people for three years.
The New South Wales Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has heard this week how the state Labor Party accepted an illegal $100,000 donation from banned Chinese businessman Huang Xiangmo. It was made in cash and hidden in an Audi shopping bag.
Despite more awareness and alertness about child sex crimes, in today’s age it appears the abhorrent crime is still occurring on a regular basis, with light sentences handed out by our courts. Two refugees were recently reported to have committed vile sex acts on children, but recently, plenty of local pedophiles have been in the news receiving light sentences of late.
The week’s social justice outrages were a local African model blaming racism for Who magazine publishing the wrong photo of her. Dave Chappelle is one of the last remaining politically incorrect comedians; his Netflix stand-up debuted this week with Vice deeming it so offensive that its audience was instructed not to watch it.
The Victorian parliament passed changes to its birth certificates, allowing people to change the gender to whatever they like every 12 months. Scott Morrison, it was revealed, was unaware his own department had installed gender-neutral bathrooms.
The G7 met in France with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro receiving a scolding from French President Emmanuel Macron over the Amazon rainforest wildfires, but Bolsonaro told all nations to mind their own business. Scott Morrison again promoted his proposal for internet sites to be shut down in the wake of terror attacks in case they broadcast any footage.
