Tucker Carlson’s Post Fox News Twitter Video Gets 20 Million Views
Tucker Carlson chose Twitter to post his first video monologue post his Fox News firing on Monday which already got close to 20 million views in its first 24 hours and counting. Tucker appeared to be in his home studio and spoke about stepping out of the noise for a few days and rediscovering how many genuinely nice, kind, decent and hilarious people there are in the United States. He then goes on to say when taking time off you see how unbelievably stupid and irrelevant the debates are on television. Tucker does not mention or disparage Fox by name.

Since news broke of Tucker’s firing on Monday despite Fox News airing a statement claiming it was a mutual parting of the ways speculation about why he was fired and what he will do next were at absolute fever pitch.
Former Fox News anchors Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly who now have successful independent media ventures of their own shared their unique insights about what it is like to leave Fox and what likely went down inside the Murdoch-controlled Fox Corporation for Tucker to be fired suddenly. They all agreed that it would have been the decision of 92-year-old Fox founder Rupert Murdoch.
Many wondered if Fox could keep Tucker silenced with a non-compete clause until his contract expires at the end of 2024. With the release of his Twitter video, we now know Tucker isn’t going to be silenced. He reaffirmed the big topics that will define our future: war, civil liberties, emerging science, demographic change, corporate power and natural resources. Tucker went on to say discussing those topics isn’t permitted in American media or in the major political parties and by their donors.
Tucker finishes his monologue by asking his followers: Where can you still find Americans saying true things? There aren’t many places left but there are some. And that’s enough. Tucker Carlson Tonight was the Number 1 Cable News show, on his final week at Fox he pulled 3.2 million viewers. These ratings gave Tucker some degree of freedom at Fox to deviate from the neo-conservative conservative inc approved narrative, particularly on the war in Ukraine.
It appears post the Dominion defamation lawsuit settlement Fox now wants to play it safe, have a primetime host mainstream corporations will advertise with and get them a good carriage deal with the cable companies. There is speculation Fox could have been spooked by a lawsuit by former Tucker Carlson Tonight low-level producer Abby Grossberg who didn’t even directly even work with Tucker who claims his production office contained misogyny and anti-semitism. There are rumours former Arizona Oath Keeper Ray Epps who on 60 Minutes America accused Tucker Carlson of ruining his life by implying he was a fed might sue as well.
Tucker has already had open offers to become a host on Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV, Newsmax and Daily Wire Plus whose ratings and subscriptions have already increased in the aftermath of Tucker’s firing. Fox’s ratings this week have seen a halving of viewership at the 8 pm timeslot currently hosted by Brian Kilmeade.
On Twitter Trump-supporting MAGA America First personalities have stated they are done with Fox, it has also been noted that Fox recently fired Dan Bongino another outspoken MAGA America Firster.
Where Tucker chooses to broadcast he will still reach millions of viewers with every video or broadcast. Unshackled from Fox he can interview old friends like Alex Jones. He’s still only 53 the sky is the limit.
