The Annual Unshackler Awards: 2016 Australian Regressive of the Year Award

It’s that time of year again where we look back and remember the year it was.

The annual Unshackler Awards is a series of 10 Awards to be released over coming days to remember the good and the bad as we break the chains of control.

Never in our history has the Regressive Left been so bold and open in its attack on our society and Western Values.  Identity politics has taken centre stage, along with a greater push to limit free speech through laws such as 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act and Political Correctness is out of control, where the regressive left is ready to pounce on anything it sees as not being 100% inclusive.  This has seen traditions like Christmas coming under attack and even charities like the Salvation Army being attacked by the left simply because they are Christian, this is despite all the great work they do for all in need.

Then of course it now seems almost a rite of passage for wannabe regressive SJW’s to publicly call Australia racist.

Now it’s our time to publicly shame the worst 10 offenders as nominated by The Unshackled team.  Then you the public get to reduce it down to just one: The “2016 Australian Regressive of the Year Award” which will be announced on Australia Day.

Daniel Andrews is the Victorian Premier with strong socialist leanings. During the year he has constantly and passionately supported Safe Schools despite all the public concern, he has until recently also been a strong supporter of the Safe Schools founder and known Marxist Roz Ward.  Daniel has also supported the introduction of another indoctrination program into Victorian Schools called the Respectful Relationship Program which teaches all about Male Privilege and that masculinity leads to domestic violence.

He has also jumped on the Greens bandwagon by setting unrealistic renewable energy targets and tripling the brown coal royalty rate resulting in the closure of the Hazelwood power plant.

Under his government Victorians have seen the emergence of the Sudanese Apex gang terrorising Melbournians, but instead of taking a tough approach on this criminal activity he has instead thrown over $2 million into feel good community harmony programs.  Andrews is also one politician who is happy to support identity politics by trying to pass a law allowing Victorians to choose their sex on birth certificates.

Roz Ward, a known Socialist is the founder and leader of the Safe Schools programs that pushes gender & LGBTI theory.  The controversial program is nothing short of a government endorsed sexual indoctrination programs for vulnerable children.  Ward also writes for the socialist/Marxist publication ‘Red Flag’.  Ward is no stranger to controversy, in May 2016 she said “Now we just need to get rid of the racist Australian flag on top of state parliament and get a red one up there and my work is done” and then in November she attacked a Trump supporter at duel anti and pro Trump rallies.

Rod Bower is Father of the Gosford Anglican Church.  He has taken to Social Media to push a very left leaning agenda and one which is at logger heads with what one would expect from a Christian leader.  Each week Rod uses the sign out the front of his church to push regressive left messages.  He supports refugees, same sex marriage, climate change and just about anything else the regressive left support.  Bower is one of the worst social justice warriors in our nation, using religion to push regressive left messages to his followers and to the masses.  Messages such as “Jesus had 2 Dads and he turned out okay” and “Bless the Burqa”

Waleed Aly is a Muslim writer and TV presenter.  It seems a day does not go by where Waleed is criticising the majority of Australians, in his eyes it seems we are a backward bigoted racist nation.  One perfect example is when Waleed took to the New York Times newspaper to accuse our refugee policy of being “brutality repackaged as compassion”.

Aly’s profile continue to grow, host of a popular channel 10 program, an Gold Logie winner, Australia Council board member and a terrorism lecturer at Monash University and now he seems to have found a friend in our Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, Aly was the guest of honour at the first ever Iftar dinner to mark the end of Ramadan.

But for such a high profile Muslim, you would think he would use his platform to call out Islamic terrorism, instead he is content on doing everything in his power to deflect from the true cause of terrorism and would rather play the victim card every time another Islam inspired terrorist attack occurs.

Andrew O’Keefe is by far the worst regressive left presenter on Australian TV.  He is known to argue and belittle any guests on Sunrise that he disagrees with.  Pauline Hanson refuses to go on his show and for good reason.  When Hanson discussed the Muslim multiple wife Centrelink rort, O’Keefe took aim at Hanson and the figures in typical deflector fashion rather than even acknowledge the problem.  In an interview with Mark Latham he got into a heated argument, with Latham labeling him a mouth piece for left wing politics.

Cindy Prior has the honour of being the person behind the most famous 18C racial vilification case.  Prior kicked engineering student Alex Wood and two others out of a dedicated indigenous computer room at the QUT as they were not indigenous students. In response to the incident Mr Wood posted on Facebook “Just got kicked out of the unsigned indigenous computer room.  QUT stopping segregation with segregation?”  Another student named Jackson Powell replied back to the comment “I wonder where the white supremacist lab is.”  Both students were sued by Prior under 18C, a third student Calum Thwaites was also sued for a Facebook post that used the word ‘niggers’ which he claims he did not author.  Prior lost the case and had over $200k in costs awarded against her, but she has since appealed the decision.  We didn’t really expect her to give up did we?

Gillian Triggs is the president of the Australian Human Rights Commission.  She is well known for taking aim at Australian politicians, calling any politician that questioned her work as ‘seriously ill-informed and uneducated’.  Triggs has been at war with many coalition politicians for years, in a parliamentary inquiry into section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act, she refused to respond to questions from Liberal Senator James Paterson over the QUT 18C case.  Triggs also loves to criticise Australia, claiming we have faltered in our commitment to human rights.  She believes our treatment of indigenous Australian, asylum seekers and our inability to proceed with a plebiscite on same sex marriage is in breach or our international human rights obligation.

Anne Aly is the first female Federal Muslim MP in Australian Parliament.  It did not take long for Aly to be controversial after she got triggered in parliament after Peter Dutton’s remarks on Lebanese-Muslims.  Aly later went on to tell the press that the comments “racially profiled a group and tainted an entire generation and played to a nationalist rhetoric” Aly claimed she had received death threats after her remarks and took the opportunity in parliament to take up issue with Coalition MPs who are seeking reforms to the current section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.  “Am I a second-class citizen, that my right to feel protected is less than someone’s right to be a bigot?” Aly said.  Aly went on to recall an incident in primary school where she claims one girl spat in her face and called her a dirty Muslim and a dirty Arab.

Aly is also a feminist who recently spoke at the 2016 Emily’s List Oration in Canberra.  In her speech she claimed that men regularly take credit for the work of women and that women are invisible when in a room full of males.  She also used the opportunity to bring up racial abuse faced by Muslim women wearing traditional head coverings, but of course she has no documented proof of such abuse.

David Morrison is the Australian of the Year and a Lieutenant General in the Australian Defence force.  He has used the limelight to push every regressive cause imaginable.  Morrison’s biggest SJW act of the year comes in a video he appeared in for ‘The Diversity Council of Australia’, where he pushed supposed gender equality by removing a common Australian phase “Hey Guys”, instead the majority of Australian just think he has lost all common sense and he is overly politically correct.

Larissa Waters is the deputy leader of the Marxist Alliance, sorry the Australian Greens.  Waters is one of the biggest supporters of No Gender December, you know where we should all give boys Barbies to stop them committing domestic violence when they grow up.  Waters also spoke about Donald Trump in parliament, labelling him a sexual predator.  Waters is a feminazi that uses every opportunity to belittle men as nothing more than sexual predators and domestic abusers.
