Essendon CEO Forced to Resign For Christian Beliefs
The GayFL is at it again with it’s wokeness obsession as now the Essendon CEO Andrew Thorburn has been forced to resign because he refused to stop being chairman of City on a Hill, a Christian organisation. This is blatant bullying and discrimination against a person’s religious beliefs. Andrew Thorburn should file an instant case of unfair dismissal with the courts…oh wait maybe he shouldn’t because the whole justice system in lefty Victoria will never side with a white Christian male.
City on a Hill believes that abortion is murder and homosexuality is a sin, Essendon now that it’s woke believes in ‘providing an inclusive, diverse and safe club, where everyone is welcome and respected’. OK that sounds fine but what about Christians? Are they welcome and accepted too? Or is it just for gays, blacks and Muslims? It seems that the AFL is picking one minority group to give tolerance and inclusivity to while not giving that to others, which is an oxymoron and indicates that they are not being tolerant at all. The way this discrimination firing occurred was intentionally covered up by the mainstream media and AFL by saying he “quit” the job, but that is not the correct way to describe it, he was forced to quit because they said you can’t have the job if you are involved with that Christian organisation, so they made him choose between his faith or footy club. He chose his religion, so he had to quit. A forced quitting is a defacto FIRING! that’s what firing someone is. I guarantee you if a gay man was told by a Melbourne business to stop being gay or you can’t work here any more the mainstream media would not describe that event as the gay man quitting his job, instead they would plaster all over the news the headline ‘Gay Man Fired For Being LGBTQ’. This reminds me of the Christian NRL players who were suspended for a game because they refused to wear a rainbow Guernsey on the gay pride round, the media described it as the players choosing not to play for religious reasons, which is not true, they wanted to play. This shifty use of wording is how the left hides blatant acts of discrimination.
Do you know that there was a Muslim women football player who refused to wear the rainbow Guernsey? Well the AFL didn’t make an issue of that, no they just pick on Christians of course. The only bigots here are the AFL who are fully leftist infiltrated and cucked.
The media has caused this outrageous act of intolerance, the AFL too for forcing it’s clubs to be leftist propaganda venues and Dan Andrews is also in on it. Leftist Dictator Dan has no problem with this act of religious discrimination and seems to enjoy the bullying of Christians by his leftist state. Many people will refuse to support the Essendon Football Club after this woke scandal and the AFL will continue to haemorrhage fans, this is after a season of terrible attendance which I’m sure has a lot to do with it’s leftist preaching putting off viewers and it’s forced vaccination requirements. Did you see how much propaganda was in the Grand Final? Essendon should chose players and staff based on how qualified and talented they are, not their personal beliefs. GayFL you’ve done it again!
