What’s so wrong about Trump Jr meeting with a Russian lawyer over Clinton?

Nothing, to put it frankly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Donald Trump Jr meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in order to obtain information about Hillary Clinton. It’s only a problem if you support Hillary Clinton and want to sensationalise it in order to further harm the Trump administration. Despite a lack of evidence, the mainstream media continues to blast the President over allegations regarding his connections with Russia. This is despite a Project Veritas video exposing CNN Producer John Bonifield admitting that the Russia story is indeed fake news.
According to Trump Jr, his brother-in-law, Jared Kushner, and then-campaign head, Paul J Manafort, were also present in the meeting. The media has jumped on board the Trump-Russia bandwagon yet again, but it’s all for nought. The revelations rendering CNN as fake news has persuaded even more voters to see the media network for what it is.
Funnily enough, Veselnitskaya was supposed to have information regarding how individuals connected to Russia were funding the Democratic National Convention and supporting Hillary Clinton herself. Yet interestingly (but unsurprisingly), the mainstream media is not head over heels over this particular piece of information. If this was about Trump, then imagine the outrage. If the MSM is so concerned about Russia potentially influencing the US political environment, then why not report on the allegations regarding the Clinton-Russia connection?
More importantly, if the media is so worried about the integrity of the US political system and its independence from other countries, why did it not pay attention to the foreign donors to the Clinton campaign? Why didn’t oh-so-altruistic CNN have news stories regarding the millions of dollars given to the Clinton Foundation by Saudi Arabia? Yet here they are pretending to be concerned about this new Trump-Russia connection.
Trump Jr insisted that nothing was discussed regarding the campaign with Veselnitskaya. Even if information regarding Hillary Clinton was exchanged, so what? It was imperative for Donald Trump to win the 2016 election in order to save the United States from further decline, and if that means having Russia fund and assist the campaign, so be it. But the truth is, it didn’t.
It is important to remember that Trump Jr only met the Russian lawyer in order to obtain information regarding Hillary Clinton. What is so wrong about attempting to learn more about a corrupt warmonger who herself tried to rig elections in other countries? That last part is where the irony is. The media constantly raves about the possible rigging of the 2016 election by a foreign power, yet supports a woman who herself wanted to rig the elections of countries such as Palestine.
The mainstream media’s penchant to sensationalist its stories is a cliche in this day and age. Its latest effort towards creating another sensationalised s***storm in order take down Trump does not seem to be working. We already know of the fact that the MSM is fake news, and its attempts at twisting a perfectly normal meeting between Trump Jr and a Russian lawyer will fall on deaf ears. It is obvious to most of us that the MSM is triggered by how extensively the truth regarding their home-girl Hillary have been revealed.
