The Unshackled Waves Ep. 71 Dual Citizenship, Regressives Cry Australian Racism and Home Affairs Department
Show Description
On this week’s review show we are joined once again by Co-Editor in Chief of The Unshackled Sukith Fernando. We start with the explosive revelations that two Greens Senators, Scott Ludlam and Larissa Waters are dual citizenship and therefore ineligible to sit in the federal parliament. We ask how could these Senators not have checked when they knew they were born overseas, and what type of gross incompetence is going on in the Australian Greens? We also reject the calls for reform of Section 44 of Australia’s Constitution which prohibits dual citizens from sitting in federal parliament. We believe the last thing Australians want is politicians with dividend loyalties, we have enough foreign influences in our parliament in this age of globalism and our legislators should be putting Australia first.
We also comment on the cries now from the leftist Australian media that racism is now rampant in the nation. The proof they offered was the Australian Nationalist Posters put around Sydney mocking Waleed Aly and Yassmin Abdel-Magied, as well as Rowan Dean’s comments to the Race Discrimination Commissioner Tim Soutphommasane that if he didn’t like it here he should go back to Laos. We highlight the reason why these people are criticized is because their arguments do not pass the fact and logic test and point out that many white regressives are criticized and there are many coloured conservative commentators. We take these accusations of racism from the media as a sign we are winning the fight against political correctness and identity politics, as when leftist have no arguments they just throw slurs around which Australians will not cop.
We also analyze the announcement by the Turnbull Government that Australia will be getting a Home Affairs Department to be headed by current Immigration Minister Peter Dutton. We comment that this is a controversial proposal, as some security experts do not feel it is needed and that our current security arrangements work well together. We comment that the Home Office of the UK hasn’t been effective in protecting that nation from terrorism. We also express our concern that civil liberties could be taken away by this new department and it would be a much better solution if Islamic immigration to Australia was stopped, rather than reduce the freedoms of existing citizens. We warn that a left wing government could use such a department to crack down on so called right wing hate speech.
