Fanos is the founder and leader of the 99% unite Facebook group and movement. He was one of those raided, arrested charged with incitement by Victoria Police over the September 5 Freedom Day protest at the Shrine of Remembrance. He has pivoted his activism now to political lobbying and continues to regularly communicate with his followers through his Facebook vlogs and new weeknight discussion/interview shows.
