The hammer attack on the husband of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Paul Pelosi in their home in San Fransico we were told was perpetrated by an adherent to far-right conspiracy theories. But the alleged attacker David DePape has been involved in California’s nudist community and was a Green Party member who lives in a leftist community that supported BLM and LGBT. Both Pelosi and DePape were found by police in their underwear when they were let into the house and in the recorded 911 call Pelosi said he knew DePape.

The Republicans could retake the Senate if Mehmet Oz defeats John Fetterman in Pennsylvania, JD Vance defeats Tim Ryan in Ohio and Herschel Walker defeats Raphael Warnock in Georgia. Things are looking good for the Republicans at the Gubernatorial level with Kari Lake against Katie Hobbs in Arizona, Ron DeSantis against Charlie Crist in Florida, and Lee Zeldin against Kathy Hochul in New York.
Terrible tragedies have occurred overseas with a Halloween crowd crush in Seoul resulting in 154 killed and 133 injured, a just reopened footbridge collapsing in Morbi, India killing 135 with 180 able to be rescued, and a terrorist car bombing in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu left 100 dead and 300 injured.
