A mandate for truckers coming from the United States into Canada is what triggered the truckers’ convoy protest to the nation’s capital Ottowa. After calling the truckers a fringe minority with unacceptable views Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau felt the capital and is presumably in disguise in blackface. Trudeau’s government had war-gamed shredding documents in the event of a “January 6” storming of the parliament but the truckers’ convoy in Ottawa has been 100% peaceful.

$6.7 billion was raised for the truckers via GoFundMe. An Australian Convoy to Canberra planned for this week had $160,000 in crowdfunding suspended by GoFundMe.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky former a comedian was super serious in telling the Western media not to create panic about a pending Russian invasion. Australian Defence Minister described Vladimir Putin as an increasingly irrational and aging dictator. Russian Ambassador to Australia Dr Alexey Pavlovsky responded that “Australians definitely are entitled to a more meaningful understanding of the situation than comic book style propaganda like Batman versus Joker”.

Joe Rogan has survived a deplatforming attempt from boomer musician Neil Young who vowed he would remove his music from Spotify unless Rogan’s podcast was removed. Spotify removed Young’s music for him as well as Joni Mitchell who also joined Young’s campaign. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stated they decried covid misinformation but won’t cancel their own Spotify podcast contract.
