POLL: Revoking Parliamentarian’s Citizenship Requirements

A push for a referendum on section 44 is being pushed with strong opposition from PM Malcolm Turnbull. Section 44 basically makes any foreign ineligible for parliament and has recently pushed out several sitting members.

Some consider section 44 necessary to maintain parliamentarians’ allegiance to Australia above any other nation, but others believe it is unnecessary and makes too many worthy politicians ineligible despite beneficial platforms or proposals. We want to know what you think:
