Libya Plane Hijacked
BREAKING NEWS: LIBYAN PASSENGER PLANE HIJACKED WITH 118 ONBOARD
A Libyan passenger plane has been forced to land in Malta after the plane was taken over by two hijackers who are threatening to blow up the plane.
No details are known about the hijackers at this stage.
Malta PM Joseph Muscat has confirmed that emergency services are on scene as well as soldiers and special forces. Some flights into Malta are being diverted to the Italian island of Sicily.
