JUST IN: $27 fee for SLAVERY REPARATIONS- Georgetown students vote overwhelmingly in favor

According to ABCNews GO, the students have voted in an overwhelming 2-to-1 margin in favor of the motion.
This move, which is still needs to be approved by the University board, will increase tuition by $27.20 per semester.
The additional funds will fund a fund that will benefit descendants of 272 slaves that were sold to pay off the Georgetown Jesuits’ debt — a move that saved the university financially.
