Brexit

When Boris Johnson’s ascended to the Prime Ministership of the United Kingdom in July 2019 biggest task was to deliver Brexit the British people voted for in 2016 and break the Brexit deadlock in the House of Commons. Boris unlike May campaigned for the Brexit vote and voted leave.

His predecessor Theresa May negotiated a weak Brexit deal with the European Union, then failed to have it pass the parliament, and missed the first Brexit deadline at the end of May 2019, the deadline was then extended to end of October. Boris Johnson initially vowed the UK would leave the European Union on October 31st deal or no deal. But having inherited May’s hung parliament this vow was prevented.

It took another general election in December 2019 which the parliament agreed to hold to break the Brexit deadlock for good which Boris’ Conservative Party won in a landslide. The UK’s initial negotiated Brexit deal with the European Union passed the House of Commons. The United Kingdom celebrated Brexit Day when they formally left the European Union on January 31st, 2020 on its third Brexit deadline day.

BritLockdown

But sadly for British patriots and freedom lovers, this newfound liberation from a globalist institution didn’t last long. On March 26 Boris Johnson announced an England-wide lockdown with the English subjected to house arrest, only permitted to leave the home for essential reasons.

In early 2020 Johnson was a world leader who initially tried to ease people’s fears about the coronavirus calling for calm and he would continue to shake people’s hands. The Conservative Government’s 180 came about from ‘modelling’ from the Imperial College of London by epidemiologist Neil Ferguson who claimed that without lockdowns and restrictions 60% of the British population would be infected.

What would have also played into Johnson’s rationale for continuing to use lockdowns was his own experience with the coronavirus. Being an obese then 55 year old with pre-existing Comorbidities Johnson ended up in the intensive care unit. When he recovered Johnson in his video return message claimed he nearly died and praised the National Health Service (NHS) nurses who were in his ICU ward.

Making sure Britian’s socialized National Health Service wasn’t overwhelmed was one of the justifications for the first lockdown. Britain’s hospitals did not become overwhelmed and in fact nurses had so much spare time without many patients they choreographed and posted tik tok dances. Despite this the coronavirus pandemic ushered in a new cult of the NSW with 8pm every Thursday evening Brits going to their front door to clap for the NHS.

With the UK now having devolved governments in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland those governments were responsible for lockdown measures in those jurisdictions with the Johnson Government lockdown measures covering England.

The UK Police who in the past decade were more focused on arresting Brits for social media posts than going after Muslim grooming gangs made sure to enforce the lockdown against ordinary Brits. UK Police patrol apartment buildings and knocked on doors to check social distancing, told people off for being in their front yards and urged neighbours to call the local police snitch line.

The first UK wide lockdown began to ease on May 11 with the nation set to enter the Northern Hemisphere summer. The freest British got during their summer was being allowed to gather indoors and outdoors in groups of 30 from July 4.

BritLockdown 2

As the UK got colder which is the climate where flu-like viruses thrive coronavirus cases began to rise again. The Johnson government had already imposed varying degrees of local lockdowns beginning with the city of Leicester in July.

Based purely on increased positive coronavirus case numbers on September 8 the rule of 6 was introduced across England which limited private gatherings of individuals in households or outside to six.

After varying degrees of localised lockdowns, the Johnson Government announced a three-tier localised lockdown system where areas would be subjected to various lockdown rules based on if the coronavirus threat there was medium, high or very high.

The Coronavirus threat was calculated for the tier system was again based only by positive testing rates with only one indicator related to alleged pressure on the NHS. NHS hospitals are still largely empty at Christmas with the new Nightingale Hospital built to admit covid patients having zero admissions

Following Wales decision on October 21 to enter a three-week so-called ‘circuit breaker’ lockdown which infamously banned the sale of products deemed ‘non-essential’ Boris Johnson announced a four-week English wide lockdown to run from November 5 to December 2.

The UK Police followed the lockdown enforcement method of Victoria’s Police violently suppressing anti-lockdown activism and even those outside commemorating Remembrance/Armistice Day on November 11. Like those in Victoria, the UK police did not do anything to prevent Black Lives Matter protestors from gathering in June.

When the English wide lockdown ended the Johnson Government reintroduced the tiered lockdown system passing The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020 which will be in place until at least 2 February 2021.

The tier system has its share of regulatory absurdities, the starkest one being that pubs can only serve alcoholic beverages if a patron purchase what is deemed a ‘substantial meal’. Spare a thought for the English who have to keep up with bureaucrats constantly moving them in between tiers.

BritVaccine

With its fixation on the covid case numbers and paranoia about its National Health Service somehow being overwhelmed (it never has been overwhelmed) the UK become the first nation to approve a coronavirus vaccine, choosing the US developed Pfizer/BioNTech mRNA vaccine.

On Tuesday morning the press cameras were ready to capture the first vaccine administered to a Brit, 90-year-old grandmother Margaret Kennan. Health Secretary Matt Hancock faked cried on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan claiming the vaccine rollout made you proud to be British. But he said despite the vaccine rollout all Brits needed to still follow the lockdown tier rules.

But two days after Pfizer vaccine rollout a warning was issued that anyone with a history of anaphylactic relations should not take the vaccine after two NHS workers has an adverse reaction. Following this it was more widely reported that two vaccine trial participants had died, four had developed temporary Bell’s palsy and four who took the placebo vaccine died.

Christmas Banned

To give Brits some end of year cheer and to connect with loved ones the Johnson Government initially announced that special linked household arrangements could be allowed to take place during the Christmas festive season from December 23 to 27.Though Brits were told lockdown tiers would be reimposed until February as that pay if they want to see their families for Christmas.

But ever since the Christmas household bubbles were announced the government health advisors the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) claimed allowing people to see loved ones for Christmas would see infections and sore and die.

On Saturday the UK Government capitulated to the lockdown lobby and not only cancelled the Christmas bubbles but created a new tier 4 for London and the South East of England which put those areas into another lockdown and makes it illegal for residents in those areas to leave. It led to chaotic scenes at London train stations and the great escape began.

After cancelling Christmas the lockdown lobbyists are urging the new stay at home tier 4 be rolled out to more areas based on the hypotheses that a new super strain of the coronavirus is spreading at a rate 70% faster in the UK. This superstrain theory has led to other European nations closing their border with and travel from the UK. France has even closed its freight border with the UK threatening the nation’s food supply.

New EU Trade Deal

Although the UK has now formally left the European Union the Brexit process has not been totally completed with the UK and EU still in a transition period until January 1, 2021 which is the deadline for the two parties to agree to a post Brexit trade-deal.

In between the first and second coronavirus wave in the UK, the post-Brexit trade deal with the EU rose to prominence in the news. The media and globalists again were hyperventilating about no trade deal Brexit, rerunning their no-deal exit scare campaign. During this time Boris Johnson spruiked about the potential for post-Brexit free trade deals with nations like Australia.

Boris Johnson and European Commission Ursula von der Leyen have both vowed to go the ‘extra mile’ to thrash out a post Brexit trade deal by December 31 after they missed the initial deadline of December 20 for talks and a deal to be agreed upon

While he may have been the Brexit Prime Minister and Brexit champion within the Conservative Party the coronavirus pandemic had demonstrated Boris Johnson is still adherent to big government, the nanny state, the tyranny of experts, the police surveillance state and globalists goals.

Nigel Farage and the Brexit Party stood out of the way in the December 2019 general election to allow a smoother fulfillment of their ultimate political objective. Farage in 2020 has been a private citizen but he is certainly not finished with political activism. He has been highly critical of the Johnson’s government use of lockdowns as its coronavirus response.

Farage has confirmed that the Brexit will be relaunching as the Reform Party with its first goal to end the never-ending cycle of economic shutdowns and national lockdowns that the coronavirus response has brought.
