Keir Starmer’s Digital ID Idiocy
British Prime Minster Sir Keir Starmer it would appear in an effort to become more unpopular and hated is planning to implement a digital ID called the BritCard.
He first announced the BritCard Global Progress Action Summit in London on September 25 and said that it would be mandatory for the right to work in the UK. He sold it as a means to crackdown on illegal immigration. Illegal boat arrivals are continuing under his Prime Ministership, who are still housed in domestic hotels.
There was immediate mass opposition to the BritCard from Reform UK, the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and the Greens. An official petition gathered 2.8 million signatures opposed.
Street protests against Digital ID have begun the biggest was in London on October 18 organised by activist group Mass Resistance where 5,000 people attended.
Starmer has backed down that it will be mandatory and has pivoted to selling the BritCard and digital ID as a means of convenience for accessing everyday services like banking.

Keir Starmer’s personal approval rating at -47 is the worst since polling began, and his Labour Party polling at 16% equal second with the Conservatives and Reform at 27% according to YouGov.
Would Digital ID have prevented the accidental release of convicted illegal immigrant Epping Child rapist Hadush Kebatu? It took authorities 48 hours to recapture him in London despite CCTV on every corner. This scandalous episode which Keir Starmer has promised an inquiry into proves that the digital surveillance already in place is failing to keep the British public safe.
Given that 1 million illegal migrants are working in what is known as the dark economy, which is already illegal, how would a digital ID suddenly make them comply with the law?
