Far-Left Violence Melbourne CBD

Antifa thuggery and violent crime continue to plague Melbourne’s UnSafe CBD making a mockery of Victoria’s Premier Jacinta Allan’s statement that the CBD is safe.

Well where do we start? Yesterday armed masked far-left socialist and Antifa thugs threw rocks, glass bottles, rotten fruit and other projectiles at Victoria Police officers who were trying to keep them from attacking attendees at Melbourne’s March for Australia against mass immigration.

Victoria Police to protect themselves and disperse these far-left violent extremists, deployed pepper spray four stun grenades, two stinger balls, one rubber bullet and 50 rounds of “pepper balls”

At a police media conference later that afternoon Victoria Police Commander of the North West Metro region Wayne Cheeseman said it was the far-left who caused all the violence and that the March for Australia attendees were peaceful. Two police officers were injured

Two police officers were injured, including a female Sergeant, who suffered a broken hand, while a male Senior Constable received a laceration to their lower leg.

Wayne Cheeseman is a massive improvement on Chief Wiggum Assistant Commissioner Luke Luke Cornielous who during covid said the greatest threat to Victoria was tin foil hat wearing batshit crazy conspiracy theorists.

Only 1 arrest was made on the day but they will work to identify the other offenders.

Despite Wayne Cheesman being as clear as day in front of the assembled mainstream media that it was the far-left responsible for all the violence, they decided to mislead or outright lie to their viewers that the violence was caused because of the March for Australia. The National Socialist Network did not attend yesterday’s March for Australia so there were no Nazi bogeymen for them to sensationalise on.

The organisers of far-left counter March for Australia claimed they dindu nuffin and Victoria Police attacked them unprovoked. Of course these activists were silent when freedom activists were shot with rubber bullets unprovoked during anti-lockdown protests in 2021.

Police Association Chief Wayne Gatt rubbished the far-left’s claim of police brutality saying they no one believes them and they had no credibility and no one believes you And we should start calling this out for what it is, to be quite frank. These people should have no credibility in our society. And we should all stop, governments included, facilitating their bad behaviour, by pandering to them with our language.”

The Premier was silent as she always is after there is violence in the Melbourne CBD. She only made her first comments today at a press conference at the Austin Hospital when asked by the media. While she did back Victoria Police’s actions yesterday she refused to say the violence came from left-wing protests.

A 30-year-old Brunswick West woman was arrested and bailed to appear in court next year. Victoria Police are working to identify other offenders.

Liberal Opposition Leader Brad Battin after calling March for Australia attendees racist after the August 31 rally finally called out far-left thuggery.

Last Tuesday 48 year old Simon Davis carjacked two vehicles with a fake gun, beginning his rampage with his first carjacking in  Hoppers Crossing, before carjacking another car in North Melbourne. He was eventually arrested in a CBD hotel by tactical police.

He was already on bail for stealing a car and threatening to kill hospital staff just two days earlier, a Melbourne court has heard.

Mr Davies’ lawyers argued he should be granted bail because he was a “vulnerable person” due to his ill health. Mr Davies interjected, telling the court that he had suffered a “hard upbringing.””I’m a very kind and compassionate and religious man,” Mr Davies told the magistrate.”I would never in my lifetime harm any woman or child under any circumstances.”He later doubled over and started sobbing.

Sushi chef Wan Lai 36 who migrated from Taiwan seven years ago was stabbed on her way to work at 7.40am by Lauren Darul 32. She suffered a punctured lung and spent three days in hospital. She is now too scared to leave the house. Darul was on bail living at a nearby homeless shelter Make Room funded by the Allan government and the City of Melbourne. Police were already looking for as she failed to attend a mandatory mental health appoinment The stabbing occured back on October 2 but wasn’t reported by Victoria Police until the CCTV footage was broadcast on October 16 two weeks later.

The ghoulish response online from violent crime downplayers to the arrest of both Simon Davies and Lauren Darul is to claim that because they are white it proves that immigrant crime is overblown. How is that comfort to the victims? How does that make violent crime less of a crisis in Melbourne?

These two terrifying incidents demonstrate another government failing of deinstitutionalising of the dangerous mentally ill and having this care in the community model. Both alleged offenders were already out on bail and had demonstrated mental illnesses.

There’s a similarity in the stabbing of Wan Lai and the stabbing death of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a train in North Carolina by black felon Decarlos Brown. Both were immigrants who thought they were coming to a safe country but were stabbed by people who shouldn’t have been out on the streets. Thankfully Wan Lai has survived but is still traumatised.

Then there are the continuing youth gang machete fights despite the Premier’s machete bins. There was a machete fight at Broadmeadows Central on October 10. The youths fled via car before police arrived.

Last Wednesday there was a machete fight on the roof of Fountain Gate shopping centre in Narre Warren in Melbourne’s South East. No one has made a complaint according to Victoria Police

On Sunday at St Kilda’s iconic Luna Park two teenagers were slashed by car full of youths who sped off after crashing into another car

Kiwi Mike Bush might now be wondering what he signed up for as Victoria’s Police Commissioner. But unlike his predecessor Shane Patton he is prepared to contradict the Premier. Last Monday, he announced a Victoria Police restructure in response to the state’s “major crime problem” and “the lack of trust and confidence” in police to tackle it.

Victorian Crime Statistics Agency data revealed that 638,640 criminal offences were recorded in Victoria in the twelve months to the end of June 2025 – an increase of 86,587 or 15.7% from the previous year. Adjusted for population growth, that’s a 13.8% annual increase with 8,998.9 offences committed per 100,000 people.

He told the media, “In terms of those two very significant issues, we need to police differently. We need a reset. We need to reorganise ourselves. “We don’t have enough police on the frontline to prevent and respond to calls for service, because the way we’ve organised ourselves has kept a lot of them either in the back room or back at the station completing jobs that someone else should do on their behalf.”

The restructure aims to cut back on centralised commands and departments and reduce the “administrative burden” on frontline officers. The number of deputy commissioners will be cut from six to four, with one dedicated specifically to crime prevention.

Though Mike Bush has spent $100 million so far in the failed manhunt for sovereign citizen Dezi Freeman after he allegedly shot dead two police officers who had come to his Porepunkah home to serve a warrant for historic child sex assault claims on August 26.

This week he has also had to apologise for using the Victoria Police air wing chopper to travel to the Australian and New Zealand Police Commissioners’ Forum, which costs $10,000 per hour in the air. He has said that in future he will travel on commercial flights.

Of course Victoria Police can only do so much. They can arrest and charge these offenders but we see Magistrates and Judges grant bail all too frequently. Jacinta Allan’s tough new bail laws which removed remand as a last resort did not cover youth offenders.

On Saturday Outside Jacinta Allan’s Bendigo electorate office a group calling themselves the New Radicals dropped off a Shit Premier Disposal Bin.

But despite the more violent crime and lawnesses piling up Jacinta Allan’s Labor Government is on track for re-election in November 2026 according to the latest Resolve and Redbridge polls.

The main threat to Jacinta Allan’s Premiership is more likely to her Deputy Ben Carroll who went off message telling reporters on Saturday “From the CBD to Cobblebank we must end this lawlessness, beginning with culture and a zero tolerance approach,” and “nothing that is bad behaviour affecting the peace of mind of law-abiding citizens should be tolerated” and “kids who commit violent crime, should face time.”
