The fallout from the latest mass shootings in the United States are still being felt. This means we are not talking about Jeffrey Epstein or a court ruling that Assange and not Russia obtained the WikiLeaks DNC emails. We instead are talking about a need for a crackdown on white nationalism/supremacy and another call for gun control.
Conspiracy theories are now considered a domestic terrorist threat, well according to someone in one remote FBI office. YouTube has been deleting all conspiracy theory linked videos and now Facebook is fact checking satire in the fight against dangerous fake news.
14 year old vlogger Soph has been permanently banned from YouTube and Patreon after she released an anti-LGBT pride video. Another teen political figure climate activist Greta Thunberg was attacked by Australia’s Andrew Bolt which drew the world’s climate change adherent’s wrath on him.
Most of Australia did not know who African-American-Australian NBA basketballer Ben Simmons was until this week. He claimed he was ID’d at Melbourne’s Crown Casino because of his race. Despite slandering Melbourne we learned he was being paid to promote it, and was also in Australia to help promote the new Adam Goodes documentary.
Abortion is set to be legalized until birth in New South Wales after a secret cross party bill was sprang on the people of the state and the numbers were stitched up for it to pass the parliament. The same is occurring in Western Australia with regard to the legalization of euthanasia in the state. The New Zealand parliament is also presently debating a similar abortion bill to NSW.
China has intensified its language against perceived threats to its regional influence. Its crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators in Hong Kong has increased and has directly threatened Australia and other Asia-Pacific nations who may be thinking of accommodating US missiles in the region.
