Parliament was back this week which saw the Morrison Government triumphantly passing their signature tax cuts. Labor’s eventual support for the tax cuts saw a mass leftist triggering on social media. Another highlight from the opening of the new parliament was Liberal MP Tim Wilson taking an oath on Milton Friedman’s Capitalism and Freedom.
Antifa violence and terror was in the spotlight again after the bashing of Quillette journalist Andy Ngo who was covering the Patriot Prayer Rally in Portland. Because Antifa bashed a minority and victim group member they have been in damage control all week. David goes through a Vox article which tries to argue the assault on Ngo needs to put into context.
We discuss the push for a Religious Discrimination Act in the wake of the Israel Folau saga, how it could be used to privileged Islam, but might not be all bad if nationalism can be registered as a religion.
We look at other legal matters with Political Posting Mumma Marijke Rancie having to pay $100,000 in damages to a queer activist for comments that were made about her by others on Rancie’s Facebook page.
Neil Erikson has been charged for interrupting Friday Islamic prayers at Federation Square back in March. Blair Cottrell has another court mention before his appeal trial against his convictions for offending Muslims. We suggest that there should be a culture war fighting fund for all these cases.
We comment on former Government Ministers Christopher Pyne and Julie Bishop going straight into lobbying positions after leaving politics, contravening the ministerial codes of conduct. But it shows just what type of politicians they were all along.
A story the media overlooked this week was leftist priest Fr Rod Bower calling Liberal Senator James Paterson a member of the Hitler Youth. It is typical of the left to call their opponents Nazis, calling Paterson a Nazi was particularly absurd given he is the biggest supporter of Israel in the Parliament.
We also investigative some of YouTube’s algorithm manipulation in that they have removed all videos that suggest Michelle Obama is a man and that Joan Rivers stated as such before her death. The Hillary is Evil song has also been removed from YouTube.
