Tommy Robinson - Crimes, Corruption and Cover-Up
By: Dianne Christine Colbert
Until a week ago I was completely unaware of Tommy Robinson. Now it seems like the whole globe has heard his name - and with good reason! Many people believe when someone is imprisoned there is a legitimate reason. We believe in the justice system. And so when we hear the headlines about Tommy being locked up for contempt of court and his sordid history by mainstream media, you could be forgiven for being led to believe Tommy was rightly imprisoned. In my view, after listening to several videos on Tommy Robinson and the cover up of sexual abuse in the UK, nothing could be further from the truth. The main crime that Tommy has committed is to expose the crimes, cover-up and corruption of others. Those that don’t want their crimes and cover-ups to be exposed have used corruption to place this courageous man in prison yet again.
Tommy grew up in Luton and in one of his presentations talks about the violence that was present in his home town. He discusses a two tiered system - one that allowed Muslims freedom to commit acts of violence and terror unpunished, but one that severely punished those who dared to speak out against those acts of violence. And when one examines the body of evidence - not just from Tommy Robinson’s presentations but other presentations regarding what is happening in Britain, one can see the enormous injustice that Tommy has suffered for simply wanting to protect the community from the costs of the Islamic Ideology that is destroying the lives of many young girls, women and children.
Tommy Robinson’s interview with Brittany Pettibone reveals the extent of the harassment he suffered by police and higher authorities for his efforts to expose the truth of what was happening all around him. He was arrested for trying to protect women and children from rape and horror. Tommy lives with constant death threats from the Muslim community for exposing these crimes, and threat of imprisonment because he exposes the cover up of these crimes by British authorities.
Andrew Norfolk of the Times newspaper shares his experience of years investigating the growth of Pakistani child sex grooming gangs. He spent 4 years investigating full time as they wanted to make sure that everyone knew what was happening. He shares about a 13 year old girl that went missing and the police told the mum not to worry, she would eventually show up. She was found drunk and almost naked with 7 adult Pakistani men at 2.30am the next morning. South Yorkshire police arrested this 13 year old girl for being drunk and disorderly, she was convicted. The men were not even questioned as to why they were there with this 13 year old girl.
A girl from Essex had been placed in a home in Rotherham by herself. In a 2 month period she went missing 15 times from a day to 2 weeks. On one of those missing nights she was taken to a house and placed blind drunk in an upstairs bedroom. 50 men raped this girl that night. When they looked into it further there were 40 homes in Rochdale caring for a single child. Vulnerable kids were being shipped up to the middle of sex grooming areas. He reports how extraordinary it was that authorities seemed to know so much and yet did so little.
When Andrew Norfolk received documents proving the police and council knew of what was happening in the area for a decade, Rotherham council launched an inquiry how they got a hold of the documents, no inquiry was launched into the actual crimes. Further newspaper articles finally led to an independent inquiry into the crimes. This proved conclusively that horrific crimes had been ignored and suppressed by the authorities. The Times is to be commended for their diligence. The council’s chief executive even told a parliamentary committee that the reason the council felt forced to commission that enquiry was because “the Times wouldn’t leave us alone.” For years people had desperately tried to get help and nothing changed in spite of letters to MP’s, chief inspectors and others in power who are meant to protect the vulnerable. The uncomfortable truth was told because the Times had the commitment to allow a staff member to pursue a single investigation in spite of accusations of racism.
I hope that many more journalists such as Andrew Norfolk of the Times, and Tommy Robinson, have the courage to follow their convictions regardless of the unfair criticism it brings. Make no mistake; Tommy Robinson is the victim of enormous discrimination for his relentless pursuit to expose crimes, cover up and corruption.
