This Friday the protesters who on the 21st of June shut down the centre of Brisbane in the name of stopping the new Adani coal mine will attempt to do so again not only in Brisbane but in Sydney too. But just who is behind these disruptive anti Adani protests?

Unless you’ve been reading The Unshackled you’d have no idea who was organising these protests or why. The mainstream media has strangely displayed an utter lack of curiosity as to the individuals and groups attempting to shut down major capital cities by blocking busy intersections, gluing themselves to the ground and disrupting both cars and public transport.

Generally speaking if a group people are deliberately trying to shut down the centres of Australian cities you’d think finding out who they are would be something an intrepid member of the fourth estate might think worth looking into. But sadly not, so it’s up to us.

Socialist Alternative is behind the anti Adani protests
Every “Uni students for climate justice” event had Socialist Alternative branded banners, flags, leaflets and newspapers for sale. Apparently nobody in the press noticed.

The main organising umbrella leading these protests is the “Uni Students for Climate Justice” group which has organised rallies in Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane as well as being a major partner in the protests in Melbourne. “Uni Students for Climate Justice” began in March of this year with the avowed purpose of mobilising university students to help pad out the numbers at the hilarious “Climate school strikes” where high school kids made the grand sacrifice of skipping A day of school with their teacher’s permission. Since unsurprisingly the groups best able to organise and mobilise on university campuses proved to be the groups who were already organised and mobilised “Uni Students for Climate Justice” quickly became dominated by Socialist Alternative, the biggest, best-organised and most violent political extremist group in Australia.

Catherine Robertson of Socialist Alternative was the primary organiser for the Brisbane “Uni students for climate justice” event.

So during their first big event a couple of weeks ago on the 21st of June the Brisbane “Uni Students for Climate Justice” protest was led by Catherine Robertson and Carl Jackson of Socialist Alternative.

And the Melbourne event had as one of the main speakers Kath Larkin; a long time Socialist Alternative activist and recent candidate for the federal seat of Cooper where she stood for the Socialist Alternative electoral front “Victorian Socialists”.

Sharp eyed readers will be sensing a pattern.

Amazingly though most of the media hasn’t.

At this point to not realise that “Uni Students for Climate Justice” is a Socialist Alternative front group takes a mind boggling level of deliberate blindness. The journalists involved in covering the protests must be literally blindfolded. It’s not possible for someone possessing unimpeded vision to not to see that well-known left wing extremist identities carrying signs and banners with the name of their organisation plastered all over them while selling the official newspaper of their group are the ones behind the anti Adani protests.

Socialist Alternative is behind the anti Adani protests
Every “Uni students for climate justice” event had Socialist Alternative branded banners and signs like this one in Adelaide and was addressed by Socialist Alternative activists.

It needs to be reiterated again that Socialist Alternative want to overthrow the government and implement a totalitarian socialist state. The first line of their Statement of Principles says: “We are a Revolutionary Marxist organisation”. There isn’t a lot of room for subtlety here. Socialist Alternative are not normal political actors and they shouldn’t be considered within the pale of normal political discourse. They are the most radical political extremists active in our society today.

The main reason Socialist Alternative are organising these protests is in order to find vulnerable new potential recruits for their creepy cult-like organisation. By ignoring who they are and why they’re doing what they’re doing the mainstream media has been the biggest factor in helping them thrive.

So let’s say it again one last time for those individuals sadly so burdened by the weight of their Journalism degrees that they seem oblivious to what’s going on in front of their faces: “Uni Students for Climate Justice” is a Socialist Alternative front group. Wake up and report it you bloody numpties.
