Show Description
On this week’s review show we are joined once again by Co-Editor in Chief of The Unshackled Sukith Fernando. We discuss Donald Trump’s recent press conference after the resignation last week of his National Security Advisor Michael Flynn where he called out the mainstream media’s fake portrayal of his administration being in a state of crises. We highlight that Trump is not launching an attack on the free press and they are not free from criticism, especially when they continue to spread lies.

We also discuss the biggest controversy of the week with video surfacing of Milo Yiannopoulos appearing to excuse pederasty and pedophilia. So far Milo has been disinvited from speaking at CPAC, lost his book deal with Simon & Schuster and has resigned from his position at Breitbart. We break down exactly what he said in those videos and do conclude that his remarks were awful and should be not so easy to forgive.

We also discuss the proposal floated this week to have a sugar tax in Australia to tackle obesity. We highlight that not only will it not achieve it’s aim but will hurt the poor and is totally alien to the principle of personal responsibility.

We also pull apart the recent announcement by the far left Socialist Labor Government in Victoria of a series of measures to tackle the apparent rise of the far right in the state. We make the point that this government should be focusing on cracking down on the crime wave in Victoria for which recent migrants are largely responsible for. We highlight that a better enforcement of law and order might reduce any underling racial tension that this government is so concerned about.
