Show Description

The modern UK now resembles a police state with hate speech laws, people sent to jail for social media posts and has now culminated with the jailing of anti-Islam and British values advocate Tommy Robinson. He was summarily sentenced to 13 months in prison for breaching a suspended sentence for filming outside a Muslim gang grooming trial in Leeds. There has been mass international outrage over Tommy’s imprisonment. We have been covering the Free Tommy rallies occurring around Australia. However, they have not nearly as been as big in number or as passionate as those happening in the UK itself.

Despite the sad state of the UK media it still has a strong alt-media community who have been covering the Free Tommy rallies and reporting on all the other concerning trends in the nation. One of them is Darrell Goodliffe who is Editor in Chief of the politics blog Kipper Central and is also news editor for Politicalite. We invited him onto the show to get a first-hand account of what life is like in the new UnGreat Britain.

We start by asking Darrell how Britain got to this point through its post-WW2 immigration and policy of multiculturalism. We look at whether Tommy actually was jeopardising the trial and also just how prevalent these Muslim grooming gangs had become. Darrell tells us how the information about Tommy’s imprisonment got out despite the reporting ban and has it had the effect of finally awakening the silent masses in the UK. We also look at if this has changed the attitude the mainstream media and political establishment have of Tommy and those in Britain with Nationalist views. We explore the emergence of another nationalist organisation in the UK the Football Lads Alliance.

We get Darrell to give us a rundown of the state of the UK parties including if there is any hope for the Conservatives, if Labour is any different under Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership and if UKIP can finally make a comeback post-Farage. Darrell elaborates on what the UK Government’s far-right crackdown involves as well as other British laws against free speech. We also get Darrell to tell us where Brexit is at including the push to have the UK Parliament have a veto over the final negotiated Brexit package.
