Tony Abbott assaulted by ‘Yes’ vote thug

The former Prime Minster was headbutted after attending a private function on Thursday, but a ‘Yes’ vote thug, who just further showed the great tolerance of the ‘Yes’ vote.

Abbott, speaking with 2GB radio, after the attack said he was confronted by a one man while walking back to his hotel, on the Thursday.

Abbott said in his 2GB interview said “A fellow sung out to me, ‘Hey Tony’, I turned around, there was a chap wearing a ‘vote yes’ badge, he says ‘I wanna shake your hand,’ he said.

“I went over to shake his hand and he headbutted me.”

Mr Abbott said his attacker “wasn’t very good at it”, but said the blow did make contact

“The only damage was a very, very slightly swollen lip”,  he said.

Mr Abbott said a member of his staff  accompanied him briefly grappled with the man, before he “scarpered off, swearing”.

The attack on our former Prime Minister Tony Abbott is not a one-off event. It is further evidence of thuggery and intimidation of the pro-gay marriage crowd. The attack on Tony Abbott is with a string of attacks and events from, the bombing of the Australian Christian Lobby, the sacking of a teen for her religious beliefs and sending suspicious white powders to the Christian Lobby and the vile bullying of Margaret Court through the mainstream media.
