Obama Called Out Unprecedented Lying… Here are his 3 Worst Lies

Regressive Left, Rundown, US Politics

Obama has been on something of a speaking tour recently. His recent comments have surrounded his great very great greatness and perfection combined with how awful terrible just horrible Trump is.Basically, Obama is taking credit for everything that has happened since hel eft office that was never achieved while he was in office and taking breaks from patting himself in the back to attack current conservative politics. In a recent comment, he stated that politicians were “just blatantly, repeatedly, baldly, shamelessly lying,” claiming that was a stark difference from his time in office.

Oh really? Let’s go over some of Obama’s biggest lies.

1. Recent Economic Growth Due to His Policies

“That was me, folks” is a line making the rounds at the moment. Obama claimed that the recent uptick in economic growth was actually an extension of his policies simply coming to fruition under Donald Trump. If this is the case, then why did Obama reign over the slowest peacetime economic recovery in United States history while constantly claiming that a shrivelled 2.5% growth was “the new normal”?

In fact, articles can still be found today in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and Forbes where Obama himself and other administration officials were quoted as saying that the economy of the United States was simply too large to grow at a faster rate than Obama was currently achieving. That sure is A stark difference from taking credit for the growth that you believed to be impossible during your time in office, isn’t it?

2. Fast and Furious was Bush’s Fault

The now-famous fast and furious operation was an attempted sting operation by the Obama administration in which the government sold guns 2 drug dealers and criminals in Mexico with the intention to track them. After the sting operation failed and the guns that were sold to drug dealers in criminals in Mexico were found at various scenes of murders in Mexico, not to mention having been used in the murder of American citizens, Obama had a simple answer to the scrutiny, “It wasn’t me it was the guy before me.”

“I think it’s important for us to understand that the Fast and Furious program was a field-initiated program begun under the previous administration,” Obama claimed during an interview, “When (Attorney General) Eric Holder found out about it, he discontinued it.” So, I guess nothing to see there, right? Except of course that wasn’t true, as it is now known and proven that the fast and furious operation started in 2009 under Obama with the supervision of Eric Holder. In fact, Eric Holder became the first attorney general in history to be held in contempt of Congress after refusing to turn over documents relating to fast and furious to the congressional body.

3. Benghazi was a Random Act of Violence, Not Terrorism

Soon after the terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi do Obama administration rushed to claim that that had not in fact been an act of terror, but a random act of violence caused by an incendiary YouTube video. This was done in an effort to belittle the importance of the fact that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton denied the consulate’s requests for higher security.

After the Obama administration was called out on the fact that the Benghazi incident had in fact been an act of terror and not a random act of violence Obama responded by saying that he, in fact, had called a terrorism the day after the attack; This is verifiably false.

Now, this is not to say that current administration officials or even President Trump himself have not lied, because that would be a blatant lie. In fact, over the course of the past two years, many lies can be recorded on behalf of Donald Trump and his administration. But to claim that that is a radical skew from the norm is simply false, and arguably Obama’s laws are of far more practical significance.
