ANTIFA is, By Definition, a Terrorist Group. Time for a Crack Down?

Webster’s Dictionary describes terrorism as: “the use of violent acts to frighten the people in an area as a way of trying to achieve a political goal.” Sound familiar? Both left and right-wing thinkers have established that what separates ANTIFA from other left-wing anti-fascism movements is their willingness to use violence.

We’ve seen ANTIFA’s activity both in Australia and abroad when young people bandanas covering their faces and blunt weapons in both hands proceed to attack intellectual opponents and the general public with violence and intimidation all in pursuit of political change. We have seen riots in the street, destruction of public and private property, use of blunt objects and other weaponry, and many other violent activities. This is all in pursuit of a far-left socio-political status-quo achieved by shutting down any opposing points of view.

The government has a duty to investigate and crack down on any and all terrorist-related activities happening within their borders, yet little attention is being paid to the violent and fascistic activities being conducted on behalf of ANTIFA both in the United States and Australia. Every day people’s right to hold and express their opinions without fear of violence and persecution is being infringed on by politically motivated actors who will pursue their objectives through any means necessary, and it’s time that law enforcement put an end to it.
