Fast – Street Talk in Auckland

As part of the Unshackled’s coverage of New Zealand’s general election campaign so far we have been speaking with a number candidates and activists so we can gain an understanding of the politics of New Zealand, what are the big issues in this campaign and probably most relevantly what Australians can learn from this election.

But we haven’t heard directly from the voters. So earlier this week we went to Auckland CBD to see what is on their minds. We asked them to rate the performance of the National Party Government, if Jacinda Ardern’s elevation to the Labour leadership made them more likely to vote for them, if they were considering a vote for a minor party and what they believe are the important issues in the campaign.
